Installation:
As we always recommend use modfolders.
Check our FAQ for a clear explanation.

If a server admin decides addon signatures should be verified, he should add the following line to the server.cfg file: verifySignatures=1

Server admin can decide which addon makers he considers trustworthy by placing their public keys in the "keys" directory. Usually (vanilla installation) there's only Bohemia Interactive's signature, called bi.bikey, in this directory.

Included .pbo files:
combarclear.pbo
combardarkblue.pbo
combarlightblue.pbo
combarorange.pbo
combarred.pbo
darkbluecrosshair.pbo
lightbluecrosshair.pbo
orangecrosshair.pbo
redcrosshair.pbo
hudclear.pbo
huddarkblue.pbo
hudlightblue.pbo
hudorange.pbo
hudred.pbo

I may well be a bit thick but how exactly do I use this? I've set up the mod folder using the instructions in the FAQ, I've changed the shortcut to call the mod and I'm not seeing any change.

I suspect that the mod is installed and loaded but not activated, Is there an ingame command to activate this mod or am I missing something before loading the game?

It should work on the fly I would think.
You might want to check your mod folders and their activation to make 100% sure you did it correct.
Maybe this addon is outdated due to a new version of the game, that could always be the case as well :-)

Ooh I'd not thought of it being outdated, might have to look for a mod that does the same stuff (you'd think selection of colour for the HUD would be built in). Steam isn't a problem is it?

# aliasalpha : Steam isn't a problem is it?

Steam, retail, Sprocket and any other version it should not matter.
You never know what they change in a patch, old addons can never be guaranteed to work (100%) with newer versions of the game.

Yeah I remember that from OFP, oftentimes the results were hilarious which was some consolation

You only install the addon of the color you wish to use.
