Brainbug :
Needs some work yet, imho. Mr. Mahmud A. has slightly lighter skin, a thinner and partially (on the cheeks) grey beard, a more angular face (nose, chin) and a quite sharp and distinctive hairline. Apart from that, I've never ever seen him wearing a tie......
Not sure if I want to name him and make an exact representation as I don't want the secret police knocking on my door!! :lol
We'll just call him the "President" for now and I think there is enough similarity for people to recognise.
Any closer looking and using his name may evoke the wraith of the Iranian political system on us. :eek

A couple of the weapons that will be featured in the Mod.
The Iranian KL-7.62 is an unlicensed, reverse-engineered copy of the Chinese Type 56 rifles which Iran purchased from the Chinese government in enormous numbers to equip its forces in the Iran–Iraq War.
The Iranian Mod is progressing well and work is continuing on getting it all together and looking the very best that we can deliver.
In the mean time, here is a screen shot of the Iranian President, surrounded by his Presidential Guard, about to board his plane.
Kazem Jafari was a student at Hadith College of Tehran,
he has only just graduated with honors.
As a highly educated man, he will be promoted to
higher ranks as a conscripted soldier in the 64th Infantry Division of the Iranian Army.
There is an ARMA 1 addon for the M60 Patton. it is not exactly like the M47, but i think it would be better than the T-34. Maybe you can get the authors permission and port it. Below is the link.

It would be a great edition, but not sure who really owns the model. There are so many out there that people have released, but not sure who would be the right person to ask.
If you know then maybe you could help me out and contact them??
Officer Hoseyn Ali Akbaree is a proffesional
soldier in the 77th Infantry Division.
Based near Mashhad, his division protects
the North East Iranian border.
His experience in the Iraq War has made
him a formidable tactician.

Hi. I am Nightrain from the Armaholic Staff.
If you did not know, there is a Iranian forces mod being made for ArmA 2. Currently they are using a T-34 as one of the tanks, but have been interested in using your Patton.
They would like permission to possibly port it and re-skin for use in their mod.
Please either respond to me or post in the Armaholic/BI topic topic with your answer.
Thanks,
Nightrain
I will see if he responds or posts in either topic. Hopefully he will.

Armstrong-"Something's burning over there, see the smoke?"
Carillo-"That's not smoke it's dust!"
Armstrong-"Dust? i don't get it."
