BIS must learn more and more about making good performance, sounds and AI, that's true. OA will be released soon, also demo (maybe before full release?) so we could try it.
Score 8.6 is too much for OA now I think - due to these major "problems". Score 7 is too low - we don't have that type of long-life game from other producers on the market now - many units, big maps, editor, community etc. etc.
Personally I'm waiting for ArmA 3 with the new engine, real physics, sounds and less of all annoing bugs, game that could kick ass all that FPS war games. OA will be only ArmA 2.1. Good to play, but nothing special.

what you say is valid...but taking myself as an example...Arma2 is the only game I'm playing nowadays.
OA is the next/current step being taken in Arma2, and if it's as compatable with Arma2 mods and such as they are saying it's going to be, then it's simply going too be the next/current "state" or Arma2 that I will load up from now on.
Plus, it's only 31$ Canadian right now (I'm in Canada) which is fair for an upgrade.
My only hope is that BI can keep up with the progress of the modding community. I would hate for OA to be released and be far slower and with stupider AI than modded and patched Arma2.
What I'm saying is I hope modders (who we all owe our MAJOR thanks) and BI are on top of immediate bugs, specifically ones that have already been addressed by recent arma2 patches and mods, asap.

2 cents to the price: it costs 650CZK (just to compare, ArmA 2 was 1000CZK, and Modern Warfake 2 is somewhat 1200CZK) so it's good price for something that may as well be a new game
Just one thing I wanted to tell the man who wrote the preview...
He should've played on Veteran/Expert if he wanted the AI to deal with him real quick. (I read the Czech version, from obvious reasons)
Yes, ArmA have good price compared to what we are playing ;)
Veteran or Expert (mainly without croshair and some other otions) - this is the best part of ArmA! :P
