Random numbers and insignia. Wreck models after destruction. Automatic gear that is pulled in after start and deployed when landing. much more... Installation: Extract the pbo file to your ArmA's Addons folder or (as we always recommend) use mod folders to keep your mods organized and to prevent errors in the future. Check our FAQ for a clear explanation. Known issues: Smoke still left on gunpods, we tried all things we could think of without any success. Flares not working anymore due to need to learn more about how to make drop commands in ArmA. Most time Hinds only uses rockets, seems to be a ArmA problem. I have found an error in running these addons on a dedicated server. (ArmA v1.14)
Attempt to load a mission which contains these, and it fails to load. The error mentions something about one of the class names not being valid.
Attempt to load the mission again and it will work.
This has been confirmed on a pure dedicated server (v1.14) running only this addon.
So, it could be used, but you must put up with that initial error on the first attempt to load a mission.
Tested it a bit more. It seems the homing missiles work fine when the target isn't moving, but when the target is moving, the code that corrects the missiles flight to the new target co-ordinates is screwy, as the missile goes haywire.
I noticed the same problem as Killer when I was playing the sample mission. Only, when I loaded the hind in the editor and tested it, it worked fine. Perhaps because the target wasn't moving...
good job, but i have question: the AT rocket of hind is bugged or what? i have problems to shoot down enemy vehicles...
Great job, one of the best add-on I have ever seen.
Thank you.
