Description: These units are meant to be elite forces often working behind enemy lines, blending in with the people and culture of takistan, they are avaible in both combat outfits with some local clothing and state-of-the-art military equipment, aswell as undercover-versions with civilian clothing and more basic and local weaponry. I left them generic on purpose so that they can represent any number of elite operators, from Delta Force to maybe even the CIA. I don't think I'll implement anything new into this now, once I start modding I can't really stop (hardly even for sleeping), so I need to calm down a bit now. I'll try to fix bugs/problems though, but I probably won't implement anything new, atleast nothing big. Installation: As we always recommend use modfolders to seperate the custom content from the official game content to prevent problems. For different ways to set up your modfolders and use them please visit our FAQ. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION: Remove the file "FtmchTier1.ext.FtmchTier1.bisign" from your addons folder if you had a previous version of the addon. Included .pbo files: ftmch_tier_one.pbo ftmch_tier_one_c.pbo Known issues: - Still no wound-textures. - Some undercover-operators still use sandals. Credits & thanks: Me, (McNools, also known as Ftcmh) for most of the textures. Lennard, for giving me a template for one of the textures, aswell as parts of that texture (one of the textures based on the KSK-mod els). Fox '09 for letting me use his config as a base for mine. All the great people of the community for your feedback and compliments, it really makes it worthwhile. Thanks alot to Robalo_AS for help witht the v3 update, as he is the one who fixed most of these things for me. Thanks VERY MUCH to ardvarkdb, DaSquad and TF86 for their SEAL addon, which the helmets are from Changelog: v3.1 - Added ACU Heavy Operators - Added new headgear: some of the heavy operators now have MICH2001-helmets with plenty of additions on them. - All operators can now hide bodies - Demolition expert can now disable mines v3.0 Added New Units: -"Heavy Operator"-version of most of the Operators, with helmets and DCU-camo. - Added several versions of the Operator-units with M4A3-rifles instead of the SCAR-series. - Undercover Grenadier (with M4A3) - Undercover Automatic Rifleman (with RPK) - Undercover AT (with AK74 and RPG) Config Changes: - Config is now in a separate .pbo - Made heads selectable in the player profile aswell as addable with the setface-command, (the names are: tierface01 all the way to tierface24) - Added correct unit icon for medicV2. - Head armor has been adjusted (they had helmet-armor before) - Added some fixes to make it work better with ACE. - Added more suitable backpacks for some of the units. Minor Changes: - Units now wear shades etc. - Fixed up some texture-flaws. - Minor changes in textures on some units. - Added some DCU-camo to the operators (not the undercover-operators) that didn't have any yet. Very nice. I just tested them out. This is perfect. My unit and I have been looking for this type of addon for a long time and this is perfect. Thank you very much!!!
Nice work, thanks.
perfect ... thanks ;)
EXCELLENT!!
Alright. I'm a little late on commenting on this but it's due to trying to figure out WHY it's happening. But every since you updated the operators to 2.1, I haven't been able to get them to work! They don't even show up as a possible mod in the expansions. I even tried with the addon in my target line but they still do not show up. Any ideas why that could be or anyone else with the same problem? (Sure there has to be atleast one other with the same problem D:) Older version 2.0 works but I don't get why 2.1 doesn't show up? Halp! D:
I'm having the same problem as Sigint.
Cannot load the addon. Getting message "deleted.ftmchtier"
Any way to get the 2.0 version?
Thanks!
Solution has been found! It... was... the addons folder was spelled wrong *Twitch* In looking for everything BUT a spelling error... I overlooked it. It is Addon instead of Addons... ~_~ Haha... cluts moment yay!
Sorry about that, the "addon"-folder in the zip-file isn't meant for that, it's just meant organize the zip-file a bit better, with the serverkey in one folder and the addon and bisign in the other. :)
Still having the same problem "deleted.ftmchtier" even after renaming the folder: Addons, addons, Addon and addon.
No such luck for me. Using latest version.
By the way, in the changelog I call the new unit Spotter, while ingame it's called CCT, (Combat Controller Technician)
Also, I think there was a problem with the sniper, so it still uses the old model.
And Kommiekat, are you sure you have both the "ftmch_tier_one.pbo" and "FtmchTier1.ext.FtmchTier1.bisign" in your AddOns-folder in your Arma 2 directory?
Seems there's a problem with the addon signing, there will be a hotfix up shortly (hopefully)
The new hotfix might solve some of your problems, just make sure you remove the old file called "FtmchTier1.ext.FtmchTier1.bisign" from your addons-folder.
Great Stuff McNools the Heavy operators are a nice addition.
Great work McNools these guys are awesome thanks :)
These are absolutely outstanding. Top notch work
But I have ran into a snag that occurs occasionally:
The Combat Medic will eventually stop responding to orders. He will take out his pistol and go to the kneeling position and stay put! He will acknowledge orders but do nothing. He is not frozen as he still looks around and will point in different directions but that's about it!
Hate to be picky because this, for me, is the best unit mod in the Arma series.
Thanks
