RUK_ASL - Arma Sound Library

by
rexehuk

Description:
The ASL (Arma Sound Library) was primary made for the creation of the NIAC script for use around ambient environments. Upon the bank becoming too large to be script viable I decided to make my work public and let everyone enjoy this sound library by providing the sound configs in this readme.

Currently the ASL contains the follow set of sound samples but is open to expansion if sources are provided for different effects:
  • Gunfire
      - Single Shot
      - Short Bursts
      - Firefights
  • Explosions
      - Explosives detonations
      - Artillery (Mortars / Heavy Artillery)
  • Bulletcracks
      - Currently a small library needs expanding
  • Future Expansion:
      - AIR units
      - Armoured units
Editor MODULE included to make missions dependant on ASL.

Installation:
As we always recommend use modfolders to seperate the custom content from the official game content to prevent problems.
For different ways to set up your modfolders and use them please visit our FAQ.

** THIS NEEDS TO BE PRESENT ON CLIENTS + SERVER **

Included pbo files:
ruk_asl.pbo

Usage:
All sounds are defined within the ASL modification these can be loaded during mission time by using the BIS say commands or any other method that utilizes CfgSounds definitions.
See included readme for the config names.

Notes:
If you wish to add sounds to the RUK_ASL library please add me on skype (rexehuk) or PM via the BI forums. As a donator you will be referenced as a contributor in the BI thread, and be helping the library grow! The more sounds the library has, the better the experience will be for the end user, producing more intense missions.
