M1161 Internally Transportable Vehicle (ITV)

by
hcpookie

Description:
This addon provides the M1161 ITV in different versions: M1161 ITV base vehicle, M2, Mk19, and SOV (Special Ops Vehicles) versions with M240 side gunner positions. A new M1161 Ambulance version has been added.

This version is enhanced with new features including antennas that bounce, a usable spare tire, and a better sunroof. Ambulance version has working light and siren horn.

The M1161 is intended for use with USMC forces to provide a light strike vehicle to work with the MV22. The M1161 is lightly armored and relies on mobility and firepower to survive. It is primarily a reconnaissance/light patrol vehicle.

Features:
- Stringtable localizations for menu items.
- Bouncy antennas!
- Spare Tire! If the vehicle suffers a blowout, you can use the spare tire. To use, approach the vehicle and selet "Use Spare Tire" from the menu. The spare tire repair is AI-aware meaning AI will re-enter the vehicle once repaired. The spare tire change takes almost 30 seconds to complete.
- The ambulance version with switchable light is found under USMC > Support. Normal versions under USMC > Cars.
- Correct front grille texture and fix for the original texture issue that caused a white-out texture.
- Sunroof, Windshield, and ambulance light can be used by the driver or commander.
- The Windshield and Sunroof menu items can be used when the vehicle is stationary.
- Backpakcs can be removed by placing this in the vehicle's init line:
this animate ["packs", 1];
- hiddenselectiontextures are supported:
    - Texture 0: "clan" (large hood emblem)
    - Texture 1: "clan_sign" (small hood emblem),
    - Texture 2: "clan_sign2" (license plate emblems)
Replace these textures with any logo of your choice as per the BIS Wiki instructions for hidden selection textures.
- Transport Capacities:
    - The ITV and ambulance versions carry 4 people total: 1 driver, 1 commander + 2 cargo.
    - The M2 and Mk19 versions carry 5 total: 2 crew and 3 cargo.
    - The SOV versions carry 5 total: 3 crew and 2 cargo.
    - Transport Backpack capacity for all models = 6 backpacks.
- Transport magazines equipped with (mostly) USMC munitions equipped for the "firepower and mobility" mindset.

Installation:
As we always recommend use modfolders to seperate the custom content from the official game content to prevent problems. For different ways to set up your modfolders and use them please visit our FAQ.

When you are using the Steam version you can find a Steam mod installation and activation FAQ here.

The MLODs are availble from here.

Known issues:
- The model was ported from the BIS sample models; therefore textures are not as high quality as they could be.
- No texture sets. It only comes in the basic green drab color. The sunroof is only available in tan.
- The shadow lod is not perfect.
- Localization strings made through a translator and may not be perfect.
- The real M1161 was built to fit inside an MV22. The 3D model is just large enough to fit, but there is some clipping.
