Desert Tigerstripe Camo [BETA]


This is my first Arma3 mod and first mod ever.
It contains a simple retexture of the default US/NATO Units to different Tigerstripe camo.

Contains 4 different Tigerstripe Camo Uniforms and Units:
  • Desert Tigerstripe
  • Jungle Tigerstripe (classic)
  • Jungle Digital Tigerstripe
  • Urban Digital Tigerstripe
  • Tigerstripe BRT

Extract into the ArmA 3 Directory, by default this is located in:
32-Bit - C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\Common/ArmA 3\
64-Bit - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\Common/ArmA 3\
After extraction it should look like this:
Steam/Steamapps\Common\ArmA 3\@your_mod_folder_name

You can also use the "Arma 3 Alpha" folder in your "My Documents" folder. Your folder setup could than look like for example this:
mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name\
mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name\
mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name\

You'll also need add a Launch Parameter to Steam, in order to do so right-click on ArmA 3 Alpha and click Properties and then Set Launch Options. In the window that opens enter in -mod=@your_mod_folder_name
For using multiple mods you would then do so like this:

You can also use -nosplash to get rid of the splash art and intro videos.

And of course you can also enable and disable community made addons and mods through the in-game Options Expansions menu if you do not want to mess with startup parameters!

How to properly use my addons:
The rpr_TGSD.pbo contains the retextures and units. This will not work without 1 (use only 1) of the following configs:
  • Option 1 (uniform + helmet camo):
      - Camo Uniform + Helmet
      - default weapons
      - tan colored Vests
      - tan colored Backpacks
  • Option 2 (uniform & helmet camo + CAF weapons)
      - Camo Uniform + Helmet
      - CAF weapons (requires Canadian Armed Forces and also adds Machinegunners as units)
      - tan colored Vests
      - tan colored Backpacks
  • Option 3 (full camo):
      - Camo Uniform + Helmet
      - default weapons
      - camo Vests
      - camo Backpacks
  • Option 4 (full camo + CAF weapons)
      - Camo Uniform + Helmet
      - CAF weapons (requires Canadian Armed Forces and also adds Machinegunners as units)
      - camo Vests
      - camo Backpacks

Only use one of these available configs.

Units can be found under "BLUFOR/TigerStripe" in the editor.

- Operator
- Automatic Rifleman
- Medic
- Grenadier
- Marksman
- AT Soldier
Each with Cap or Helmet or Beanie Hat (thanks skeeko1337)
(Nightvision Goggles are in inventory, not on head)

Classnames are in the readme!

Known issues:
- Uniform Icon in inventory has white background
- Camo pattern on the vest is a little too big compared to uniform camo pattern
