Close Air Support - Day 1

Description:
STRATIS AIR STATION
CLASSIFIED: FM 101-5-2
SUBJECT: CLOSE AIR SUPPORT DUTY ROSTER

Situation:
Busy day today. We have reports of multiple organized attacks on island key strategic points.
You're on the roster for CAS duty, so prep a chopper and contact Command when you're ready for tasking.

Tasking:
Task CAS on Command priority. Link up with and assist ground elements on request.
On CAS IP, JTAC will establish link and talk you on target.
Radio request smoke for situational awareness and target ID.
SITREP and SADL coms on UHF Guard.

Support:
Set RTB to current task at nearest FARP for a rearm/refuel pad.
Stratis Air Base pad for repair and medical.

Features:
- Play as pilot being called on target by JTAC, or JTAC calling the pilot onto target
- Several tasks on the island, (Domination style) started by radio request
- Random task order
- Random spawn numbers for OPFOR and BLUEFOR at each task (uses SLP, thanks Nomadd)

- Refuel/Rearm FARPs
- +Repair/Medical pad at Stratis Air Base
- Repairs have visible mechanics
- Request smoke on target and friendlies from JTAC
- Request ground situation update SITREPs
- PIP as SADL feed

- Cleanup of each area after task complete for performance

  • Closed size of triggers that deactivate AIs that aren't visible to increase performance a bit

  • New version uploaded to correct issues from last patch.
  • Added version number to Scenario Overview Screen (it's looking like there will be many versions due to Alpha code changes).
  • Be aware that you may receive intermittent error messages when troops are spawning for new tasks. I believe this is a collision issue in the SLP spawn (SHK) scripts. It hasn't had a visible impact on tasking in my experience.
