Automated After Action Report Generator

Automated After Action Report Generator is an Arma 3 Addon, Extension and reporting tool that creates after action reports based on ingame missions.

This is the first Alpha release which is ready for testing/feedback.
The included Single Player mission will let you load any recorded AAR.
Not included yet is a way to view AAR's view the web, but that's coming.

This addon is currently client side only. It only tracks the group you're in and is designed for infantry.

Extract into the ArmA 3 Directory, by default this is located in:
32-Bit - C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/
64-Bit - C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/
After extraction it should look like this:
Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/@your_mod_folder_name

You can also use the "Arma 3" folder in your "My Documents" folder. Your folder setup could than look like for example this:

Place the "userconfig" folder into your game install folder, usually:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3".

You'll also need to add a Launch Parameter to Steam, in order to do so right-click on ArmA 3 and click Properties and then Set Launch Options. In the window that opens enter in -mod=@your_mod_folder_name
For using multiple mods you would then do so like this:

You can also use -nosplash to get rid of the splash art and intro videos.

And of course you can also enable and disable community made addons and mods through the in-game Options Expansions menu if you do not want to mess with startup parameters!

When the above information still does not provide you with enough to learn how to install custom addons and mods you can always ask in our Guide On Installing Mods.

Included files:

Make sure that you modify the config file before running! Edit that config file to make any changes required, such as the folder to store the AAR files. (Make sure the game isn't running at the time.)
Play any mission, single player or multiplayer. Only one person in each group needs to be running the addon. It's a client side addon, not intended for servers and won't function anyhow.
As you play your mission, you will see a new AAR file being created in the AAR configured directory.
You can view this file in notepad.

After the mission....
The aarShow mission will let you load/view existing aar's.
Open that mission in Single Player and select the load AAR action menu item.
Your action menu will then list all AAR's found. Select the desired one from the list in the action menu.
