M27 IAR & basic HK416's
by
Slatts
Description:
A few weeks back I set about porting the M27 IAR I made using Vilas' models for arma 2 over to arma 3.
I also made two basic HK416 models. One standard, and one GL variant.
Installation:
Extract into the ArmA 3 Directory, by default this is located in:
32-Bit - C:\Program Files\Steam/Steamapps\Common\ArmA 3\
64-Bit - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam/Steamapps\Common\ArmA 3\
After extraction it should look like this:
Steam\Steamapps\Common\ArmA 3\@your_mod_folder_name\addons\
You can also use the "Arma 3 Alpha" folder in your "My Documents" folder. Your folder setup could than look like for example this:
mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name1\addons\
mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name2\addons\
mydocuments\Arma3 Alpha\@your_mod_folder_name2\addons\
When present place the "userconfig" folder into your game install folder, usually:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3".
You may already have "userconfig" folder from other addons and/or mods in which case it is safe to merge the contents from this archive.
You'll also need to add a Launch Parameter to Steam, in order to do so right-click on ArmA 3 Alpha and click Properties and then Set Launch Options. In the window that opens enter in -mod=@your_mod_folder_name
For using multiple mods you would then do so like this:
-mod=@mod_name;@mod_name2;@mod_name3;@mod_name4;@mod_name5
Note:
You can also use -nosplash to get rid of the splash art and intro videos.
And of course you can also enable and disable community made addons and mods through the in-game Options Expansions menu if you do not want to mess with startup parameters!
When the above information still does not provide you with enough to learn how to install custom addons and mods you can always ask in our
Guide On Installing Mods.

Known issues:
Yet again my PC decides to go and troll me by not starting up so this isn't fully complete yet but it's more then enjoyable and usable so knock yourself out. Due to the PC crash it isn't fully ASDG compatible nor can AI use it similar to a MX SW as I intended.
Notes:
Feedback is as always, more than welcome and when I get my PC back from the doctor I will of course do my best to update it
Credits & Thanks:

Hope there will be a C-mag version of IAR. And let it inherit from class arifle_MX_SW_F (a machine gun) instead of some random rifles to make AI believe it's actually an MG. 5 stars Given. Keep up the good work.
Hi, There will be when I get my PC back! (If the files survive). And I will also make it work like a MX SW for AI. thanks for the 5 stars :)
Very well made for such an early state, I like the guns very much. The only downside is an error appearing at he hk416 with grenade launcher. Anyways the weapons look excellent, please add something like a burst fire mode. 5 Stars
i have no sound for the m27
Very cool addon pack. Not to be mean, but making an M4/HK416/17/ or an AK pack is quite useless since there are so many.
Hi MrSheepie. The M27 was made when there was almost none, the 416's were added due to a request and it wasn't hard to do. Also I'm not making any M4/416/7 or AK packs sooo....
