binkster released the ArmAII-Mark tool on the
BI forums.
The ArmAII-Mark tool is an old mission from Toadlife from back in the OFP days. All scripting and idea's are his. Mr. Burns Converted this over to ArmA and now
binkster converted to ArmA2 with a few small changes.

I don't think this is a very good benchmark. Either that or the engine is screwy. I get higher marks on higher settings which doesn't make sense.

Mh i got a Intel E8400 @ 2x 3GHz and a GeForce GTX280 and i got in some missions not more than 30FPS
With the 4870's super fast gddr5 you should be able to pull around 50-70 frames. Problem being, bis admitted that they hadn't optimised for all the cards yet.
The HD4750 works great in the game.....I run all on very high and I have more than 40 frames/sec
In my opinion the performance mark test is not working properly.......I ran my arma2 with settings very high and get a better result as before on normal. A friend of mine ran the mark test an a far slower PC and had nerly the same results....but he has problems running the game in normal mode when we play together. He ran his Arma2 with only 17-20 frames in normal mode and draw distance on 1800 meters....I can run the game on very high an draw distance 5000 meters with 30-40 frames.
It seems like the HD4870's ddr5 will have no affect in arma2. Sad, because if they fixed this then the card would fly fly fly in a huge environment of arma2.
I put the settings all to normal and ran the performance test.
Results:

It seems I need a faster CPU....maybe a AMD Phenom II 940 and a second graphics card :satisfied
Or I use all 4 graphics card slots on my mainboard to obtain the same results as on the screenshot
