![]() VopSound by vo.2 Description: I'm happy to announce the third release of VopSound for ArmA2. Yes, I'm planning to port it over to OA and eagerly anticipating tpm's HARCP and will make it compatible. And no, no video. Don't ask. I'm a busy man. Propably someone takes some time and will make one. As always it is recommended to be used with: Tango Romeos Tracked Vehicles Sound Mod, Robert Hammers Heli Sound Mod and MarkXIII's GAU8 cannon sound version compatible with my fixed wings module. Effects volume level ingame recommended: 80% Installation: Remove all existing vopsound files from earlier releases Create a folder called @VopSound2.2 and inside this one another called Addons in your ArmA2 main directory. Inside this new Addons folder you place the .pbo and .bisign files you would like to use from your extracted archive and the appropriate subfolders. The names are selfexplaining. Environmental Sounds: Ambient and Nature sounds Explosions,Snaps and Impact Sounds: Any kind of explosion, bulletsnap and impact sounds Fixed Wings: Sounds for fixed wings aircrafts Footsteps and Gear Sounds: less annoying footsteps and gear rattling for west troops(no more clonketyclonk) Gun Sounds: new sounds for nearly every weapon ingame Wheeled Vehicles: Sounds for wheeled vehicles This .bisign files are there so players using properly signed addons can join to that server which requires them. Rightclick on the ArmA shortcut in the desktop or where you have it and select properties. In the target box add -mod=@VopSound2.2 It should look like: "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2.exe" -mod=@vopsound2.2To load more than one mod folder use semi-colons to separate them. (-mod=@mod1;@mod2;@mod3) Check our FAQ for a clear explanation. For server admins: If a server admin decides addon signatures should be verified, he should add the following line to the server.cfg file: verifySignatures=1Server admin can decide which addon makers he considers trustworthy by placing their public keys in the "keys" directory. Usually (vanilla installation) there's only Bohemia Interactive's signature, called bi.bikey, in this directory. You can find the Public Key for VopSound in this package in a folder named "Server Key". Included files: Vops_c_Environmental Vops_c_FixedWings Vops_c_Gear Vops_c_Guns Vops_c_Impact Vops_c_Wheeled Vops_s_Environmental Vops_s_FixedWings Vops_s_Gear Vops_s_Guns Vops_s_Impact Vops_s_Wheeled Media: Changelog: v2.2 - It has been a long time, I've no idea what has changed. When i fire the burst of a g36 , g36c , g36k all I can hear is a single shot not the burst. Is it the mod or my computer?

What is wrong with you? Cant you reply in a normal way? Insulting an admin asking you to behave in an normal fashion is not smart.
If you would care to read this websites content you would find critics are always welcome. Your post is not constructive at all and is rather insulting to the mod maker. I do not allow any such behaviour here on Armaholic.
Exactly, and as such you should be happy and thankfull someone actually bothers to give you something different for free and adress that person in a respectfull way. If thats not something you can do when the free content made by a private person is not to your likings please stick to posting comments on Youtube, that community is used to a certain level.

What the fuck are you,a kid??? first of all i know he could have done it better,he just didnt, and have made the mod lot worse than version 2.1,why didnt he keep the sounds?
And yes i dont program for arma2 because i already use my time with linux(and i prefer to use my time on linux than this,really).

version 2.1 was awesome,but this is nothing,the sounds are all messed up,the gunfights are not so enjoyable anymore,and what the hell is that sound from the AK when they shot at you? sounds like wood shaving,the gunfights around us are a joke,you cant hear the M16 shooting ate 30meter lol what the hell have you done? version 2.1 was the best sound mod for arma2,but this version is a joke,the game alone have better sound,bring back version 2.1 and remove this garbage 2.2,i dont care how much did you get making this version,at least fix it fast do some research on weapons sounds,the simple youtube is out there.
This Mod is unusable when it has worst combat environment sounds than the game itself.
I was so hyped for this version of the mod -_-

These sounds arent too great. only the a10 sounds are good. This is the only sound mod where you can hear the a10 from a distance and its cannon.
Great mod, but I just wanted to report a problem I'm having, everything seems to run smoothly except that technicals seem to be silent while driving. I only hear them make any noise when I'm accelerating having just stopped or slowed down...while just driving at the steady speed, the technicals are completely silent I find.
Does anyone know how to use this mod with ACE?

Mmmm..., I do have discharge sounds and I like the overall package. The only thing missing is the discharge sound of the Minimi. Anyone else with this problem?
