Maruk informed the community on the
BI forums about the current status of the much anticipated ArmA2 demo.

The demo will feature a lot of content for singleplayer, multiplayer and also mission editing and will be 2+ GB large due to amount of content we decided to include.

ohara stated that the Arma 2 demo is expected to come out sometime next week. Most likely Monday or Tuesday.

Yea well I'll be sure to let Bis that they aren't measuring up to your standard...Maybe they should do what AA3 did and release it even if it don't work.Bis has always been loyal and supportive of the community so morons doesn't seem a fair description.Quit your whining and wait till it comes out....When Arma demo came out people complained they released it too early...sheesh.

By the time these morons get the demo out, we'll all be owners of the full-frikken game. Why is it companies open their mouths up when they aren't prepared. AAO 3 did the same thing. Hyped the thing up and when it launched, they were supposedly "caught off guard" by how many people tried accessing the game and couldn't keep up. Yeah and that's after their own hyping on facebook alone. These developers never learn--keep your mouth shut until its 100% certain instead of leading people along in excitement only to dash them all to pieces either all together or saying "umm...maybe next week...or three".

It's the 16th already and still not out :( lets hope im just being stupid and cant see on bi forums etc ...really wanna play it !
no doubt, there is a nice atmosphere when you can play it with high settings and the incoming mods are also looking great!
anyway, BIS has to keep up the work and make some patches!!
This game is awesome everything about it is, feels like your playing through a movie, in the scenarios i've been playing in.

Funny everyone in my group (Phoenix Soldiers) that bought the German version says it is a great game.They of course say there are bugs...but what game doesn't. I think Arma 2 will replace Arma within 6 months. If not sooner.

Bis Always releases a demo. When a company releases a demo They KNOW the game is going to be great. How many crappy games have you bought and thought if There was a demo I would have never purchased it. A demo is just a developers confidence in a game not to mention it makes us happy.

they tested a the patched version and were not able to play the campaign because of some bugs!
i also played the campaign and after the first mission i stopped because it sucked - i make my own missions in editor anyway, that's the only thing that works properly...
so if you are a mission-maker (with good hardware) you can go ahead and buy it, otherwise i can only recommend you to play the demo!

Don't really care about what some german mag says. They got a crappy version just about everyone knows that. Everything I've seen looks great so far I already pre ordered and am going to enjoy it when I get it.
