Solus released version 2.3 of the Arma 2 SLX Mod on the
BI forums.
This mod is made to enhance the gameplay, make the AI smarter, effects better and add's some new gameplay features as well. Solus has been working on this mod for over a year and before that he allready made some awesome stuff for OFP which is all used and enhanced for the release.
SLX is intended for full compatibility with ACE.
Changes:- Fixed:
- Dialogue crash in Quesh Kibrul/Takistan warfare.
- No suppressive targets high in the air.
- Bleed rate time.
- Give radios.
- Limiting group shout comments to 20% of group.
- Radio caller waits until hidden from everyone in enemy group.
- Changed:
- AI crouch more often in combat.
- First aid reduces bleeding each time instead of always stopping.
- Added:
- Bleeding appears under legs when leg wounded.
- Find cover excludes fences with min object width check.
That head wounds thing is now an optional addon for those with A2+OA so it shouldn't make those errors.
Yeah I get the same error too... Kicks me back to the map!!
I have the same problem of bin\config.bin/CfgHeads/DefaultHead/Wounds.tex" Can someone help, it won't even let me start a map with that error; it just kicks me back to the map editor
Mod is great. Some realy cool features. Only problem I have is some performance issues. Tried to remove some .pbos but game still lags a lot. Guess it's time for the new processor.

Seem to be missing file "bin\config.bin/CfgHeads/DefaultHead/Wounds.tex"
maggotsic: While that wound was just missing carotid artery so there's still a chance it's survivable (as it is ingame, sometimes it's fatal, sometimes not), I changed the look so it's further from the carotid artery anyway. The flies take longer to start and gather now.
Deserter: Yes it works with OA.
Hello. I have just one question: does this mod work on ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead???
@ Solus - it's not bug? With that type of wound on the neck he must be dead, not injured...
About fly - well, too short time after some battle for fly coming (I understand one day or more; for me it's unnecessary sound, you could add it in option folder if you can for choose).
danny96: Make sure you extract the whole @SLX folder in your base ArmA2 folder, for that part to work it can't be in a sub folder and it can't be renamed. It just needs to be \Arma2\@SLX\SLX.hpp

What don't you like about the fly sounds?
I'll look into if the restart menu can be made to appear faster than it's set up to by default.

One problem (using Ace2 and Normandy mod):
He need a coffin, not medic ;)
Short test with '97 (missions with about 50 and about 200 ai) - full version works much better with ArmA 2 (less of big lags, with previous versions I had to delete ai files to avoid those lags) also with OA is ok. I don't like only two things - sounds of fly over dead bodies and long time to choose restart or end option when I'm killed (sometimes there's no possibility to choose, game "freeze" when I'm lying dead on the ground, so I had to end game process).
Anyway it looks like that is no my favourite mod :)
@danny96 go to ur arma 2 root folder, create folder named Userconfig,in that folder create new named SLX, put there SLX.hpp included in download, thats it.
error - Include file @SLX\SLX.Hpp not found please help!
