The latest beta patch as well as the earlier versions are showing scripts errors whenever AI controlled artillery missions or templates are used.Using the -showScriptErrors in startup parameters any mission run with static artillery or MLRS/GRAD synced with artillery module will show the following error -

In the "Missions: Complete" section you find a sticky which you can use to ask wether specific missions exist.
In the "Missions: Wip" section you find a sticky to request whatever mission you want others to make for you.
And if you are searching for a specific mod, in the "Addons and Mods: Complete" section you find a sticky to use if you want to know if a certain mod was already made.

Choose the sticky which fits your question best!

Hi, I looked around in this forum for hours and could not find a guide for hosting your own server of ace, specially a fallujah ACE insurgency. Im new to hosting and I basicly wanna play with a couple of friends. Im trying with TA2DST but im not finding the right settings and map of fallujah that runs with ace. I only found a directory online with isurgency missions and started from there, but the directory didnt mention the requirements so im lost. Can anyone help me?

(ps: Setting up a Fallujah Vanilla insurgency or Takistan ACE is already a help)

Wich tweaks i could do to make this run better, I already did the ARMA2.cfg and ARMA2OA.cfg maxframes ahead things plus im using the maxVRAM=<512>, exThreads=<4> cpucount=<2> (idk if my procesor is dual or quad but i think its dual)but i still get only 26 fps what other tweaks could i do??

Does anybody know of a Mod that will remove all of the crap from my in game screen? e.g. The icons of squad members on the bottom left? I REALLY dislike them, and The # of mod's for CO/OA is STAGGERINGLY high, and I would RATHER not have to wade through thousands of Mods to find, or NOT find what I'm looking for. Not to mention that this is Something that someone will VERY likely find obvious, and easily be able to point me in the correct direction. Thanks in advance for Your help.

Hey today I downloaded the 2GB download for the Invasion 1944 mod for ArmA 2 Combined Operations. After downloading, I did all the things necessary things to make it a playable expansion in-game. After I did that I opened my game and enabled the mod. I restarted the game and said @invasion1944 in the top right like it should for any mod. But when I going into single player missions there is a blank space where the missions should be. You can click on and start it but it exits out and says "No entry '.Campaign' The editor works perfectly fine and has all the ground, air, sea, etc addons but it is just the Campaign that is not working. If there is anyone who has a solution please help me. - Leeroy

What has happened to all the great domination and warfare servers on Arma2 CO/Arrow head?

Is everything now taken over by Dayz?

I have Dayz commander but I think Dayz is rubbish.

I want to take Takistan villages again or get involved in proper warfare missions with building bases and equipment.

You can't call Dayz a war simulator. I bought Arma2 as I loved Operation Flashpoint.

Where are the war veterans? Surely they're not playing this Dayz thing.

Hi, I've had a squad.xml for quite some time now, but I can't seem to figure out how to add my friends to it. I've added their names, player ID's, etc to the xml and everything works except the Squad Logo and the Tag that appears in square brackets after their name -even though it works fine for me. I have no idea what I did wrong, and every attempt to find out just leads me to this, or another thread dealing with "how to make a squad xml" instead of "how to add people to a squad xml".

So. Here's my exact xml file, with the Player ID's not included for security reasons. If you can Identify what's wrong and how to fix it, that'd be greatly appreciated!

BattlEye on ArmA 2 OA is only really good for detecting external script executions - mods that configure the game files to change weapons to do no damage are not usually detected by BattlEye and so render the modder 'invincible' while one certain weapon such as the M24 is fully-automatic and does twice the damage. None of this is detected by BattlEye which is why server owners can disable it.

Disabling mods that not everyone can see also increases the rate of synchronisation between players: if you're driving around in P:UKF's Challenger 2 and you get out and shoot them with RobertHammer's Desert Eagle from his Pistol Pack and the second part has neither of the mods, you're going to be incredibly desynchronised to him (for example you'll not be driving any visible vehicle and you'll not be holding any weapon at all).

Are you using the AGMs to lock onto other aircraft? 'AGM' means 'Air-to-Ground Missile' if you didn't know, so try to avoid using them. Sidewinders I believe are for Air-to-Air - all you need to do is get the enemy aircraft in your crosshair and hold the right mouse button (default key binding) until a green square appears around the aircraft, then you just fire away.

- Place the .paa file (eg. mylogo.paa) at the same location as your squad.xml file
- At the squad.xml file, make sure you have the following:

As for .png images; yes they do work but without transparency (just like .jpg images).

Then use Texview or the commandline utility 'Pal2Pace.exe' to convert that png to transparant .PAA

Cause for some server owners the default game is good enough. Others allow only specific addons which they want their clients to be able to use (to prevent cheating) and other servers allow a whole bunch of addons as long as they are signed and the addon makers is known for the quality of his work.

On servers which allow every addon available out there you will most certainly find only cheaters and wreckers. Those servers are the so called gathering places of the pathetic.
