MOUT-CQB Training Course
It's a simple MOUT/CQB training map that I did for my friends and they pretty liked it, so I hope it will be useful to you too. It's a mission for up to 7 players: 1 Commander that overwatches the training, and 6 Trainees.
The goal is to retrieve intel, by simply walking on the map object (I am really bad in mission making) located at its marker. Then you have to find the end of the course, located at the yellow sign drawn on the ground, and enter it.
The mission is best recommended to be played without the use of grenades\GL\launchers, and of course, the unfair aid of the Commander over the OPFOR. (shooting them, giving intel about them and their positions). All the enemies, ammo crates and objects in the course have a random chance to appear, with different percentages to balance the mission. Every run trough it should be different.
When trainees die, they respawn at the start of the map. The commander, if he falls or he is shot by trainees or he starts shooting OPFOR in the course until they open fire on him, respawns in front of a ramp that leads on a container at the start of the map.
The Commander belogns to INDFOR and he is allied with both OPFOR and BLUFOR; they won't shoot him.
Two versions: Arma 2 CO and ACE
Extract the .pbo file(s) to your ArmA2 Operation Arrowhead\MPMissions folder.
It comes with template versions too. Extract the folders to your ArmA2\other Profiles\Yournick\Missions and load them in the editor.
In the ACE version, if you take damage of any intensity, you won't die, but enter in a state of unconsciousness that will last 60 seconds.
In this case, if the commander is shot or hit by sharpnels on the containers, he can't be revived. If soldiers use grenades this could happen, so I strongly recommend not to use them anyway, for the sake of the training. I also recommend extreme caution to the Commander: Watch your step, walk always or stay crouched and you won't have problems.
I am sorry for any bugs, problems that may occur while using my mission. I did most of these stuff when I was much younger and I just refinished it for release. I don't know if I will be updating it any time soon: for me, it's pretty complete right now.
As I said before, edit the mission as you please: Implement it in your training missions, add stuff and remove stuff without any problem, no need to ask or credit. It's just a little training map after all.
Have fun and thank you for giving this crap a shot! :)
