Nice to hear that Caen is being improved. It looks so much on those pictures. It was seriusly bombed up before the allies attacked, so could there be scorhces and rubble scattered around city?

Speaking of caen i have a ww2 reenactment the weekend of the 26th of june. The battle is the liberation of Caen!

Just to clear things up there is only four mod downloads correcT?
2 ati user patches
2 other downloads

no other things were released yet correct?

the 4 patches all adjust bugs and major problems in the first release.
the next release will include all the fixes of the past patches.
As well as a large amount of new work including:
Vehicles,Tanks,Weapons,Aircraft,Ships and custom statics for the island.
The completely revamped Normandy map.
new system for working out realistic Armour values and round damage for all weapons(hopefully)

Here are some pics from the revised Lancaster WIP.

-Several bomb Load outs added and I mean several HC4000+16xMC500, 4xMC1000+10xMC500, 12xMC1000, 1xHC8000, 1xHC12000, 1xMC12000, 1xMC22000. And the original released with the first edition of the aircraft.
-Proxies for the bombs added so they no longer appear to spawn from the center of the aircraft before they drop
-Some surface textures were corrected
-Animations fixed for the control surfaces and landing gear

The buildings and terrain really limited the explosion. I does a lot of damage on terrain thats flatter.

Great work Aqu!

And Yes this mod will be brought into ArmA 2 as soon as a few items such as the infantry models are sorted out.

Because the Lancaster got so much more powerful bombload now I had to put something on the German side again to balance it.
So I just got an idea which I had to test....
