Hiho,
at first Im an Arma newbie but i want to say that i love this site although I just know it since yesterday:)
But now my problem:
I tried to find a multiplayergame but even after I installes the new patch i can´t find any servers. My actual version is 1.52.71816.
II hope you can tell my why i can´t enjoy the MP.

Are you sure your not searching your local network? There is a button you can press to select the internet or the local area network. Try it.

Yes Im sure, I tried it several times;)

Added 10 minutes later:

DO I have to register me anywhere?
And is there anyone with the same Problem?:)

ah and masybe i should allude that i just have OA and not ArmaII

Hmm, I have no idea. You do not need to register anywhere.
Only having OA should be no issue, I am sure there are more people with just OA and not Arma 2.

Can you take a screenshot of your multiplayer lobby screen? Can you host your own game?
Are you behind a router and/or firewall? Did you allow OA acces? Normally this should be no issue but make sure you give it permission and see if that helps.

lol Im not able to post a screen here o.O
So I have to describe it. I see, if I press the MP button, an emty emty list. My filter settings are set to default. And my firewall let my OA pass through it:). For more information: I use Vista 32 (Home Premium)

If I host my PC says: No challenge was received from the Master Server
??????wtf

some thing s nice to know to troubleshoot:

-Do you have Arma2 aswell
-What version do you have of the game a DVD, Steam or other source download version?
-Have you installed the new OA 1.52 patch?
- and where both games updated oké ?
-Have you reinstalled the game completely?
-Have you tested with the firewall and Virus scan disabled?
-Make sure there are no filers on in the game

have u tried setting your Anti-Virus/Firewall/Internet Security to Game-Mode? Also check your firewall settings in your router to see if this is the problem.

Yes I bought Arma 2 yesterday too;) And I reinstalled both games new but it won´t work as well. But I will totally reboot my System in a few days because I want to upgrade it on Win7:P. I hope after this there are no more additional firewalls or something like that and I can play the game in MP

this is strange tbf cos alls i had to do to start playing mp is press multiplayer, then hundreds of servers appear, i hope u find a fix soon dude as the mp is so muich beeter then sp :) stupid AI lol
