Hello. I have installed a new version fo Ace, and when i star the Arma AO it appears a message
" Addon ¨acex_veh_air-wep¨ requires addon ´ace_module_easa´ "
And then, when i tried to save a campaign game...it appeared that ´ace_module_easa´was erased or not found...and so the game took me to the beggining...(with the upsetting conclusion, of course)
Does anybody knows where can i found this addon? Or why it didnt came with the Ace downloaded? Have had anyone similar problems?

Ok ..soryy..It wasnt my intention...´Is i just dont use this a lot...But..Please..Have had somebody the same problem? Or know the causes?

Is there a way in ACE to make it so you can use NV Goggles while in scope mode of an ACOG scope, this is a feature which never mad much sense to me because if there going to do that then they need more weapons with the NV RCO Attachment thingy.

Ill tell you what may help, download the 6 updater and download ace through that, its a very usefull program and is realy easy to use. http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=13213&highlight=6%2BUPDATER . This is a very usefull tool with managing addons and other types of things. I HIGHLY Recomend you use it over the manual way of installing ACE.

Thank sooo much, for your help..Yes it really works ,...All features are able to be used. There is just one thing thata i dont know if is just like this or is a detail I have passed.
It is that, in the Briefings, It´s not possible to load the ´rucks´ , or put weapons at the back...And is only possible to take just one ´special´ feature like earplugs or gasmask, (and take two squares at same time)....How I´ve said,I dont know if it is that it have to be like this or If i have passed something. If it has happened to someone, or someone have the answer, I would very appreciate.
Whatever, very thank you for the help with the Sixuodater,..I will use now firstly..thank you so much..

If you edit the scripts of a mission you create you can have it all

In your init.sqf, If you disable Stamina you cannot carry a rucksack, but you can compensate with these lines

//ACE_NoStaminaEffects = true; //true doesn't allow ruck so enable more stamina
player setVariable ["ACE_SYS_STAMINA_MULTI",0.0001];



Heres a random kit loadout for ACE2
//{null = [_x] call compile preprocessFile "playerkit.sqf"}foreach units group player;";
// ACE_AssaultPack_BAF ACE_BackPack_US ACE_PRC119

Greetings All,
I've been searching for an answer and cant find anything on this topic; How do you get the AI passengers to get inside the APC's instead of riding on the top of them? For example, the BDRM-1. I'll assign 5 guys to get in the vehicle and 1 gets in as the driver, 1 gets in as a gunner and the other 3 sit on top of the vehicle... Now theres not only open cargo seats but also open Machinegunner seats too!

I've even tried creating a trigger using the "joe MoveInCargo [vehicle, 1]" trying to see if I could find what #s represented the cargo/machinegunner positions inside but it seems none of the inside positions are considered "Cargo" in the sense that the "MoveInCargo" command uses....

So, how do I get them to get INSIDE the dang APC instead of sitting on top completely exposed...?

Are you using the RHS Cargo mod, because to my knowledge thats the only mod out there that allows you to get on vehicles. If so thats your problem.

No...? I'm using ACE2. When ACE (ACE & ACEX) is disabled the vehicles that allow this are no longer present. ACEX adds a series of vehicles and the APCs it added all allow the units to sit on the vehicle... Unfortunately for the AI, they prefer to sit on the outside first... So is it not possible to get them to get inside rather than ride on top? Also what about the extra machinegun positions on the BDRM-2 (2front & 2side MG positions)? Are they considered "gunners" or "Cargo"...?

Hi All,
Hoping someone might be able to help...please. I am playing a campaign made by manzilla, 'a noble cause', the ACE version.
I'm stuck at the moment and the "endmission" doesn't work..its on a kind of loop, so very frustrating and not sure what I'm doing or missing...
the problem:

in this mission you pick up a L2A1 and M3, M2- the next task is to load this equipment onto the jackal? Not sure if I'm being real stupid here...but I can't load anything a part for the m2 mags- I can't load the L2A1,M3 etc. I assume it would be the same way you load the m2 mags? through the interaction keys? windows key, etc?
Or is it something completely different?

any help would be most appreciated.

Have you tried posting this on the missions thread here or on BI Forums? The author is your best source for an answer (I haven't played the mission in question).

Thanks for the reply Viper.
From your response, it doesn't appear to be just a common key command, etc associated with ACE, so its looking like the mission itself- which is a pity, hoping it would be a quick 'just press these keys, blah, blah'

I have posted in the mission thread for the particular campaign and sent a PM to the author...but haven't tried the BI Forums, I will give that a go.

You can move M2's, deployed tripods etc with the interaction key, aswell as putting them in vehicles. I haven't played arma let alone ACE in a while though so things may have changed since I last tried. If you dont get an answer from the author, hopefully anyone else who has played this campaign can help you out. :-)

I'm having trouble with the GBU-12s not tracking onto a laser target. I've read that if I drop GBU within a certain parameter, it would automatically track onto the laser. Still no luck. I've tried using a friend with a soflam (both the SOFLAM and the aircraft have the default laser code 1001) and I've tried the Ace targets (laser target). Any help is appreciated.

Update: Team mate was not operating the SOFLAM correctly...

Back when I last played ACE 1½-2½ years ago, you switched between diffrent sights on the weapon with SHIFT F - that doesnt work anymore, so how do you change sights? I've gone through the ACE Settings section in the menu but found nothing that correspons.
