# palyarmerc : You're not talking about the HUD awareness thingy that shows (red) enemy direction/position at the screen edge if you have Arma2 difficulty settings below Veteran? Are you? Otherwise, please describe again what you are seeing.

Uhh...I'm not sure coz I always put my difficulty settings on expert and it only appears whenever I have ACE on. So yeah, it looks something like a big red ball like the one you see in a laser designator and it can be seen with or without the use of NVG. It only appears whenever there is a firefight going on. It's really weird coz it's popping in and out randomly to the surroundings. Sometimes to the enemy position (half a click or 1000m) and sometimes near to my left or right. LOL. Hmm, let me try to fix it on my own, try to find a solution, and at the same time wait for you guys for help. It's not really a big deal but I find it odd. LOL. Thanks again in advance and more power to you guys. :-D

The AI suppression mod puts debug balls over the unit's head.. you're not using that by chance are you?

Yeah, I'm using TPWCAS AI Suppression but I dont think that's the one that causing the problem. As what I had stated on my previous post, I did a trial and error or whatever you call that, on mods that I have on ArmA 2 and it seems ACE is the one causing it. Oh well, thanks for the help anyways bud. Appreciated your help. :-D

PROBLEM FIXED. Sorry for my stupidity guys! I'm embarrassed! LOL! It's actually part of ACE MOD. xD Those red dots are from the binoculars used by Fireteam Leaders in a squad. They appear whenever binoculars are being used especially whenever there are armored targets around.

How do I make players take damage and pass out but do not die?

Hi!
I've downloaded and tried to play this mission:
http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=15326
Downloaded all the required downloads, but when I try to play i get the following error:
"You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted. ace_c_men, ace_sys_playerhud".

Haven't deleted any content, and I double checked with my brother who also had a brand new install of the ACE2, and those files simply isn't there and obviously didn't come with the installation.

Any suggestions?

That mission was last updated in 2011 and ACE could since of removed said files, you could go into the mission.sqm and delete the dependency of those files, located in requiredAddons.

Ok that might be it.
But how do i find the sqm-file?
The only file that came with the download was a pbo-file.

Edit: Wait, i think i found it...
Edit2: Nah, tried editing the PBO-file and deleting those lines, but it didn't work. Game won't start then.
Any more ideas?

I just recently reinstalled ACE2 since i had to format my computer, and it seems like the sight adjusments for crew server weapons are all in yards for some reason, which they weren't before (they were in meters), is there any way for me to change that back to meters?

Im pretty sure you can change the system of measurements to metric in the ACE settings menu.

Okay, once again. Is there any way to replace the vanilla akm and akms with the ACE versions? Also, where is APS stetchkin? I have magazine for it but cannot find it

Well, you'd need a replacement pack for the units you want to change it for. As far as I know, there is no way to replace weapons, only units and vehicles.
