Have you guys been reading the Official forums lately. At first there was talk about BIS going to make DLC or (Downloadable Conant) both free and pay for ARMA II. I Hope I've posted this in the correct area if not sorry about it. Now its official, although don't know when it will happen.

I just want to see what you guys think about it......

And me, I'm up for it. BIS said that they are doing this to for feather development and im with them 100%.

Thanks for that, I did not yet see those screens. Interesting to see that now.


Seeing those screens I assume this DLC is mainly for Arma 2 OA so I move the topic to that section.

Nice. Thanks for the link. I imagine they would release some of the vehicle packs that already exist for VBS2 but that is pure speculation on my part. Personally, I'd love to see something like the Virtual Roleplayers Pack http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjZd34_RF0g or the UK Content Pack http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZEgF4FXMKI&feature=related. But mostly, I'd like to see their AC-130 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FIOT4bDXWI.

First, thanks for the heads up!
I saw and skipped over the topic @BIS because I assumed that it was just wishful thinking/spit-balling.
It is great to see them continue to support -free or otherwise- the expansion... as long as the store/library is not tied to some type of in-game points system.

If a DLC adds a complete new faction to the game, then it can be worth paying for it in my opinion. I just hope it isn't more than half the cost for Arma 2 itself, that to be honest would suck when you want to buy say 3 or more DLCs.

an expansion for an expansion lol, and so soon after the release! the screens look great, i cant wait to have the brits backing us up ingame, should be pretty awesome!!! ( takes me back to afghanistan ;) )
