Hello Everybody!!
I am xzenocrimzie (also known as qzwx in-game). My military service started when I downloaded the ArmA demo 3 years ago, and I spent way too much time on that demo and not buying the actual game. I played that demo for about 143 hours and it never got boring. When I finally bought Arma2 and OA, (after playing around with the demo for about 90 hours) I was definately hooked on the series. I have worked around the subtle limitations of the game and I enjoy the realism. Playing on multiplayer with everyone else (expecially the PCGamer crew) is a blast and Zargabad Life has taken away my weekends. I decided to get a bit more involved with the series by trying to become an active member on the forums, and possibly joining a group to do Cooperative missions without the hassle of babysitting the AI.

All problems can be solved with the correct application of high explosives

Hi everyone, i am the shy on of you all,

my name is CTF_hero and at 14 years of age, and have been playing shooter games with the current name since i was 6. Ghost recon 2 was my game and when i first went into CoD 5 and MW/MW2, i had already beat the best of my friends, and perfected the tactics used on there.

Still looking for a greater challenge, i found this game [actualy my friend showed me it] and 4 months later, i was walking through a canadian walmart, and i saw it---renembering what my friend had showed me, i bought combined ops, beng it a gooddeal for only $10 more. been playing it ever since.

since then: i have leaned to script acceptionaly well for use in modding this game. ive alwayse wanted to put out a full mod into a game before (bf2) but i lacked the ability at the time. currently i have succeeded in creating a [badly textured] F-18C for my use alone, and i hope to give to the comunity way more than im capable of now.

other informaton:

im very shy

Hey dudes, my name is Jim, and I'm an armaholic!

Been hooked on this drug for the passed 2 months now.

In all seriousness, the best part about this game has been the community, especially you guys at armaholic. The tutorials/mods/help is just great. It all brings way more replay value to this game. If BI has anyone to thank for their success, it's the people here. Well personally, this is what has kept me wanting more. :)

Looking forward to seeing where this goes with ArmA III. I just hope my computer will be good enough to keep up with it!

Name: Heavylead, i currently live in America but have been on 1 deployment to iraq and 2 deployments to Afghanistan.

I found Arma when i buddy gave me a copy while is was in Iraq, and basically that whole deployment i was hooked, i played for hours and used what ever free time i had to play. Now im a big Arma 2 player and spend most of my free time playing (im running out of free time cause im looking at another deployment)
I have been a U.S. Air Force Special Operations Pararescueman for about 4 and half years now and my last 2 deployments were as a Pararescueman (My buddies say my first should only count as half a deployment since i got wounded in combat and had to go home early)
Look forward to see were Arma 3 goes and will hopefully make some more missions.

Welcome to Armaholic guys! Look forward to hearing from each one of you. Heavylead sounds like you have had quite a tour, and still one ahead of you. Stay safe, maybe we can game hardcore one of these nights. You also sound like your becoming quite the Veteran with all those years under your belt. Once again welcome to Armaholic. And I look forward to seeing your skills and talents that you have to offer to Armaholic.

Welcome new folks! I second Wyte_Outs greetings! If any have any questions always feel free to ask.

Heavylead, thanks for your service. No matter what you may hear on the news, we civilians really appreciate what you do. :-)

Armstrong-"Hey Carillo, do you see that?"
Carillo-"See what?"
Armstrong-"Something's burning over there, see the smoke?"
Carillo-"That's not smoke it's dust!"
Armstrong-"Dust? i don't get it."

What he said 100%. I heard Pararescue training is tough, like two years of training.
