recently I have been working on some modern army men.
WIP pic.



FAQ.
Q. Why are you making this? OA has nice US ARMY MEN!
A. Why not? :-D I want some men with IBA's and bulky loadouts. What about you?

Q. What addons will this require?
A. Hopefully no more than 1 weapon pack. I will try to put all weapons inside my pack , but still not sure.

Q. what game will this require?
A. least of my worries. first release will be requiring Arma 2 + OA (CO) and then the last one will just require OA. I use backpacks, and certain oa classes / textures.

There will be replacement configs , and ACE configs (i have animalmother on standby for those)

will post more next week.

Sweet, will they have M4's, patches, vehicles, non silenced M9's, and will there be U.S. ARMY Rangers in this addon? The pic loks good!

OT: Will these have support for Squad XML's? I was quite dissapointed the defualt OA units didnt have them (especially on the shoulders on the free space, you know?)

yes, there will be squad xml support. If you use it, I can send it to you for testing to make sure it works , as i do not use it.

If possible i may be even able to add support for custom ranks , on the front of the iotv.



also, my modeler is working on the plate carrier for the light guys, they will be in MC / UCP and the heavy guys will be wearing IOTVs or IBAs, groin pads and sometimes shoulder guards.
nice and clean...

gona add new pouches, pockets, possibly some kneepads, fix up vest textures (atm just mc molle + mc cover) and redo combat shirt
