My major complaint is the helmets thickness, it looks like it's made of card! Apart from that the final picture looks good, although I am not too keen on the way you built a vest over the Iba for the multicam models, you can still see the uvmapping on the greyed out vest.

One more small thing, why are they still wearing iba's and not the iotv's I haven't seen an iba in service for about 2 years now!

i've seen plenty of pics from 2009 etc and even into 2010 with men wearing IBAs. there is only 1 unit with the iba at the moment.. and I am going to switch over to my new IBA model (has a more distinct shape than the flat one i use currently)


as for the mc men, i'm considering just doing them in UCP rather than MC as nixo made a very nice set of mc men.. although they wear all crye gear. maybe in the future. model adjustments will be made so it's just a 'flat' ACU under it.

for the helmet, currently i am reworking textures and also trying to make it more thick. some pics would be good too

Pics are looking great man. Just saw the movie Restrepo (look this one up). One thing I noticed is that after several months in the sandbox these guys were completely covered in afghan dirt/dust. I have yet to see from the BI team or addon makers a US soldier that really looks like hes been living in a nitty-gritty, treacherous desert for 12 months. I mean the pattern (digital, multicam) almost doesn't matter in the end because the weapons,clothing and skin on these guys are totally covered in dust. They look badass. You should take all your textures and overlay them with the light sand colors found in OA.

dirt, yes... takistan? no. Ebanks is finishing up Korengal Valley on his WIP Kunar province map, I will make the dust as seen there.

these men all wear ISAF patches, as that is what they are supposed to represent. they will come with 101st , 3rd id , and other patches (request em!) as hidden selections (so you can select them for your mission)

And please make all the units have those green looking gloves, I think it would make them look more realistic and better.

as for restrepo, gotta wait on ebanks for that. he says his kunar province map doesn't work in game anymore :(
although he recently started on korengal valley and gave a shot at restrepo.. might have beta soon to show you guys with my men :)
