Well alls I can say is "WOW" =-O The L85A2 AWS with its Night Vision scope and Red Backround Thermal Imaging made my jaw hit the ground, The AH1 (British version of the AH-64D Apache) with its much better payload in my opinion 19 rockets each of two different types the CRV7-HEPD (19) and the CRV7-FAT (19) no idea which one is what atm but I assume one is better for infantry and one for vehicles.

The Wildcat is so Agile i managed to pull a barrel roll manouvre under 40m :-P and the merlin with its closable doors, good for avoiding cargo incoming fire it hot zones :-)

The JACKAL gunner position with ACOG sights and no Recoil :-P

Also this mod sounds amazing with the latest vop_sound :) strange i know maybe the author added the sounds for the upcoming release who knows.....

If anyone was umming and arring whether to get this DLC I urge you to do it and to download from sprocket if you dont use STEAM as that download requires OA on STEAM, British Price is £7.68 as oppose to the £7.99 BIS told us.

The download can be found here

EDIT

As for Shapur it looks good but also unfinished

I found it amazing, I've done the campaign and most SP missions, absolutely amazing.
The voices are spot on, the campaign is short but excellently made and really immerseive.
The gear is accurate and detailed, and the vehicles are just great.
I would say this is the best BI have made so far!
The new map is small but excellent for CQB / FIBUA type stuff.
The lynx is now my favorite toy in ArmA.
10/10. :-D

Theres only 1 little niggles so far:
- the 50. sounds the same as a 7.62.

I also think they should of re-skinned the c130, put some support trucks in, also maybe a challenger (but all available through mods anyway ((there all in VBS anyway so i suppose it wouldn't have been to hard)) to allow them to be used in full on conflict such as vs Russia not just counter insurgency. (but its still amazing).

As usual the completly retarded ai can still ruin things:
Enemy shilka 300 metres
2 engage that shilka
2 - negative
Enemy shilka 200 metres
2 engage that shilka
2 - negative
Enemy shilka 100 metres
2 engage that shilka
2 - negative
oh no 2 is down
oh no 3 is down
oh no 4 is down
oh no 5 is down
as i found out earlier, moral of the story is take some AT in case the AI decide to be idiots!

If your wondering weather to get it then do, its completely worth it, I would of been happy to pay more.
ITS £7!

Steam auto-updated and unlcoked them free of charge, but the textures are all blurry, not understanding this.

With my post thats just tested with the v1.54 patch :) so I cant wait to have it all dl for tommorow :)

Yeah the AI really get on my nerves with that @!%£ as you said though always take an AT just in case :)

The LRR and AS50 also have the same sounds, and my oh my how fast can u empty the magazine on the AS50 i took out 5targets under 3seconds all in a horizontal line :)

I think with the challenger 2 they didnt add it because as in RL Britain didnt deploy any tanks over in Afghanistan, if they did it would surely be over now :) plus PR MOD will bring that anyway :) bit off topic I know so to get back on track.

WOoOW buy this dlc, its worth every penny/cent and whatever currency you use :)

How could I forget the L115A3 LRR bolt action too :) finally BIS have used it :)

This is so you can still play on servers with the DLC, its like a taster version. you don't get no missions and the quality is low. you still have to buy it if you want the full version.

Grimfist :...also maybe a challenger...
You would hope that BIS will sweeten the pot somewhere in the (patch) future (Think :EW) with the inclusion of a MBT for the Brits to fill up their limited TO&E.
____
Other than the usual suspects and their usual complaints, sound like BIS hit another one out of the park. *THUMBS UP*

# panj : digital download ?? *HELP*

its dlc (downloadable content) and can only be purchased on the internet from selected sellers, i.e. Steam, Sprocket etc here's another thread on where you can to buy.

http://www.armaholic.com/forums.php?m=posts&q=11684&n=last#bottom

P.S. how can you have the internet and play online games and not know what a digital download is :-P

P.P.S I'm having problems aquiring the download :-(

Added 1 hour 29 minutes later:

Pffft the reload animation of the L85 variants use the M4/Mk16/Mk17 animation, even the magazine stays in place.... Lazy BIS

Haven't gotten my copy yet, waiting tonight for a go at Sprocket.

Can anyone who already has it, do they include an L85 model (A1 or A2 don't care) that *doesn't* have the forward RIS and foregrip? Looking for a bone stock old school L85 with ironsights or SUSAT for a mission I'm making.

Thanks in advance.

That is not true, the magazine is removed while you reload. Just tried it in slow motion with the L85A2 Acog.
