Off topic a bit here still related to BAF though, I'm trying to find the new I.E.D's in editor, I have stumbled across a thread either here or on BI Forums, used the Search function and came up a blank :-(

So my question is where are they?

EDIT

I know that you can find them in empty/ammo/explosives stash, but I want to place just a I.E.D not the ammobox....

A search for "BAF ied" on the BIS forums would have led you to this post:

There are no editor placeable IEDs, but you can easily place them via scripting (using createVehicle) as shown in my post and one from Nielsen.

Ah thanks Pirin thats the posts I found and subsequently lost ;-)

My problem was i was searching for BAF "I.E.D".........

Sucks that there are no placeable editor I.E.D's, are BIS trying to make us jealous? :-P

Well, basically what we got was AI/player placeable IED satchels, and new objects to use for the age old IED scripts of yore. Which is pretty cool I guess. :)

I checked out Nielsens I.E.D Script example which was awesome :-)

I think i will add that instead of just the I.E.D placed on the map, and give it a trigger so the Terry's spawn when Bluefor get a certain distance from them :-)

Its funny i usually use another i.e.d script and set to medium (damages any soft vehicle but not the crew, its a SMAW HEDP round ), i usually place lets say a civilian, or a dead dog (Emery's) well today I placed a Invisible Helipad and as soon as my bluefor Warrior activated the trigger the missiles fires off into the distance and exploded on a hill 200m away *ROFL* with the dead dog etc its usually explodes outright where i placed the object.... Well that made me chuckle anyways :-)

No idea, why don't you read the readme and see if you can find which sounds are replaced?

Yes it does, I'm sure LJ covered the BAF weapons, if not he certainly did with 1.4 which is almost ready for release.
