Just a few months ago I downloaded tons of mods from this place, did something change?
Do I need to donate or something?

How are you downloading from us?

Are you using a downloadmanager?
Are you using a proxy?
Are you using some tool?
Is the Ip you are currently connected with also the IP you are trying to download with?
How are you downloading the files? Are you accessing them directly or are you downloading them from our pages?

I'm just simply clicking the download link on the page of the mod I want. The problem might be that I'm having to run an Ethernet cable from my laptop to my desktop and use a bridged connection because my wireless card is fried.

Which download page is it your trying to download? is this problem you have happening on all our download pages or just this one? and you still didnt answer the questions from Foxhound:

It is very important for us to know what is exactly causing the trouble so you do need to answer what we ask and to answer your first question, no we changed nothing, and you do not need to donate to download our mods.

Due to the "edit your own pages" feature not being fully working here yet(!) it is hard for us to track why people edited their page.
Once the new website is ready this function goes into full effect.
Than we will be able to save old version. So if people completely screw up the page (no offense) we can easily revert.
People will be able to (required) to add info why the page was updated (so we know what to do with it).

I really appreciate it however you are doing it yourself already and are doing your best to do it right.
In the near future all this will be a lot easier.


PS: in case you would like to test the new website drop me a PM, as a valuable member of our website you should be one of those.
It is not at that stage yet, but I will just add you to our "testers" list so once we open up for testing you will get access.

I wondered if that was a partially implimented feature. I'm happy to make my own news pages, no problem at all. It is a little bit daunting with the edit page of tags and all that, but I guess the functionality comes at a cost of useability until you get used to it.

On the new website all this will be offered in a much easier and clearer way.
The website we have currently was not really made with this kind of function in mind (at first) so we are using a system which is clear to us staff but will indeed be very confusing to "normal members". Specially cause some fields to fill with info you can not even see.

Hi this is for the first time i have EVER seen such a problem and it started unexpectedly. Ive been downloading everything else outside ArmaHolic without any problems. Any suggestions ?

You are getting this error, because you are not downloading our files directly from our website. You are trying to download something without visiting our website.
Fox will explain in more "gentle" way.
I would suggest to you that you always visit our website and click on the download ling from our page and all is well. Otherwise Fox will ban you. He is not a nice guy. And he is fat.

You know what always strikes me....all people who report issues are not logged for having issues at all. And that is simply not possible.

And this is weird yesterday all was fine today not and how come i am not downloading from the website?
I am clicking Click to download "mod name". anything i try to download from armaholic poof nope sry here is a 1kb text. downloading something from gamecopyworld for example no problem here is your request. I am logged into Armaholic. At first i though its from my Mess around windows one i have not activated and the windows i am working on Legit Win 8.1 the same problem and this is for real the first time i have ever seen this on ANY website to download stuff from
