So, I've run into a problem that I'm not quite sure about.
I've tried searching for help first but kind really find anything that solves this issue.

I've placed an AI-character in a house and forced him to sit using the switchMove command combined with disableAI "MOVE".
All is fine, he sits as told.
Now, I want my guys to sneak into the room and when he sees them he gets up and starts firing at them if they haven't already killed him. I also want him to be able to move once he's spotted them.

To do this I've put a trigger in the room "BLUFOR Detected by OPFOR", Condition this, OnAct: {_x enableAI "MOVE"} forEach units guard1; (I've grouped the guard into group named "guard1").

Now, on detecting the BLUFOR soldiers he will get up into a crouch and then just stand there and look at them - HE REFUSES TO FIRE HIS WEAPON! Even if the BLUFOR fire at him he won't fire back.

Anyone know what the problem is?

I found this which helped me out with a similar situation

Making a whole group sit down

....that's all folks....!
