I agree with ArmyOfOne. I think what you're doing is an excellent thing for the game, and I think the way he imagines it implemented is probably best. Maybe a mod team isn't such a bad idea. Anyone with any skill and knowledge in these matters would have to see how worthwhile this project is. Keep up the good work buddy.

Well it sounds like a plan, anyone out there with any experience on the coding side of modding that wants to help me out will of course get full credit for their work ( and if you could five me a few hints as to what to do I would really appreciate it )let me know either through here or pm me! I will try to keep up with all the 3d modeling and texture side and hopefully we will have a kickass mod to release soon!

wow, this is an amazing idea for a project, i hope all goes well, the uses of something like this is like many others already said...a very hugh leap up in the realisim department, specially the "Pick your Loadout" suggestion, as i always remember before going out in training have to hurry up and pick what i needed, cause i was lazy and did everything last second...usally resaulting in me always forgeting something. so i think its a good idea, i would love nothing more then to be reminded in a game im lazy because i left the wire into takistan without everything i need...and like in rl i suffer lmao!
on another note, i know only a very...very tinny bit of 3d modeling mostly just editing models, and doing basic re-texturing! so i doubt i can be much help on such a large and important project however like iv said before im always here if you need me!

BTW, Beautiful Models, the helmet looks top noch, looks alot like what i used!

Good luck buddy,
Dave

I have no experience in any field, I'm no help.

The models are looking amazing for an early stage!

Is that a Combat-T?

Looks fantastic, strap some gear on and let me play with him (no homo) lol

feast your eyes upon this lovely lady... Amusing that's a ACS on your model it would be cool to have that pocket thing on the right arm, it would be unique too, don't think I've seen one in ArmA yet

Anyways amazing product, keep it coming!

They look really good, better than the ones BIS made actually.

Do you plan on making the Orange tinted version?

so thanks to the help of Christian1987 i managed to get the helmet with shades and without and shades of varying colors configured to be selected in the edit profile selection under glasses, they work great and in conjunction to playing with a model sans helmet they look great!

here are a couple of screens

and here is the model ingame!!

so now i am having a problem lol, i was wandering about outside when i noticed that nothing cast a shadow on the helmet! it just glowed on like it was in full daylight. even when i went indoors, it still shone brightly. HELP!!!!!!

i also noticed that when i walk past some windows the helmet disappears and other windows look like the helmet in on the other side than the model???? i have some screens if anyone has any suggestions i am all ears!

and here is how it looks in the sunlight outdoors, great, i just dont get it!

I recommend you bring this up on the BIS forums, you might get more support, faster, and maybe even start that mod team.
