Hey folks, just wanted to inform you of my latest work, a small CQB Course I am working on:
CQB training course
A little improvised field CQB training course fitted into the eastern hangar on Utes.
It will eventually feature a full statistics capture in means of shots fired, hits scored and a resulting accuracy for each of the types SMG, Assault Rifle, Shotgun and Pistol. Machine Guns, Sniper Rifles, AT Launchers and grenades will not be covered by this stat capture because apart from grenades (which no military will allow to be used in a makeshift live fire CQB course) they are unsuitable for CQB.
Also, grenades will blow up the course.
Compact CQB course
Fully compatible, uses only ArmA 2 objects and weapons (a OA only and a CO version will be available with the final release)
13 targets in 4 rooms with a randomization engine
Just drop the .pbo in your MPMissions folder (for Co-Op) or in your Missions folder (for SP).
Stats integrated: Every soldier has individual shot/hit/accuracy stats for every weapon type (SMGs, assault rifles, shotguns and pistols)
Added ammo script, removed small ammocrate
Made objects indestructible, soldiers invincible (it's a training map, not a DM map, after all)
Initial public release
Haven't tested the stat system in MP, but it worked in SP using team switch
First and foremostTHIS IS A WIP MISSION, therefor it may contain errors, bigger flaws etc.
The big ammobox pile will hold selected weapons in later versions, it actually already does so in the current debugging version
The small ammobox is a test ammobox, I simply forgot to take it out
The stats mentioned in the briefing aren't yet available in this version. In the current debugging version the stat system already handles overall shots, hits and accuracy for a single soldier
The objects are destructible, so don't throw grenades around
There is no respawn yet, just don't kill each other
This is the first time I worked with EventHandlers, so I don't know if they all work correctly. At least in my SP testing everything worked fine.
