Hi guys, I recently purchased ArmA 2 and I started playing online this week. I noticed that Benny Edition servers are always full no matter what version it is. I tried to download BE from the download section, I have copied the pbo files into the MPmission folder in the systems folder of the game. However, when I try to join the server, i am able to connect to the solider selection screen (i.e. to chose what role I would like to play as in the game) but when I chose my slot and press continue which then leads to the loading screen, it gets stuck around 3/4 of the way and never continues and I am forced to close the game through troubleshoot as it crashes.

Please help me as I would really like to play this addon! What is the right way to install BE? have i don something wrong? or is this problem normal?

Help would be much appreciated!

Ps: I tried joining the version i had downloaded, so for example I downloaded v. 2068 and joined a server with the same number. So that is not the problem!

Warfare Benny Edition is just a mission, so even if you didn't have it it should download the proper version when you connect to the server.

Are you able to start up the mission locally? As in Multiplayer -> New -> LAN -> host the mission? It's possible you might be missing some addons for the server or something. Can you not connect to any server running it? and can you connect to other servers not running it?

Could be an issue with your battleye (thats the anti cheat in Arma).

No I'm not able to run the server withe BE.. only default missions. How is it possible to host a BE server?

Hmm, to bad.
Do you have any custom addon installed? If so remove them all so you are running the vanilla game (default files only).
Are you running the latest Arma 2 version (1.10)?

I am running the vanilla game, and I have noticed that when I join other modded servers, the loading bar does not complete the full 100% length. In fact it loads to a certain point and freezes for a couple of minutes and eventually I get the "receiving mission" screen and end up in the gameplay. Perhaps since the Benny edition seems to be the biggest of the modded servers, I need to just leave it 'frozen' for some time and it will eventually load the game for me. I will let you know how it goes!
