Notebooks are (mostly) not made for being played on and as a result get too hot.
I am not saying you can not play games on a laptop but I just never advice it (I played years on a laptop....... I know :-) )

Also, check the .rpt file to see if the errors in there tell you something.
Try to run just the default game (vanilla) and see if when using no custom content at all the game still crashes. If not one of the addons/mods you used might cause it.

thanx for the reply foxhound..

Yes vanilla CO does run smooth for me, but i have no HUD in ALL vehicles/planes/infantry ( e.g AV8-B = SPD,ALT,AMMO COUNT) all i have is fuel and just the cross hair reticle. In CO with mods i have the same problem, except i can see my SPD ALT etc only because i have the cockpit interface which vanilla doesnt have. OA runs fine no problems, bit laggy at times. I get a few no entrys in 'CO vanilla' and 'CO mods' which are all the same, on main, in editor and game. 4 in total which i have the names of..

..And yer i know about the laptop, It was what i needed at the time, I couldnt gat a comp :( .. But getting one soon.
I also have a question about that 2 and who better to ask.. What do you recommend I should build for ARMA 2/3 with about $2000 - $2500 to spend. I want to be able to run them at max and how it should be.

The G335/GT335 is primarily for multi-media apps -not demanding programs such as ArmA*.
When in doubt, starting dropping in-game (advanced) video settings/options, and cross your fingers.

Questions about what hardware to get belong in the sticky topic we have for just that, lets not clutter the forums/this topic with different questions which belong elsewhere ;-)

If you have so many errors while playing the game (even vanilla) something is really wrong.
I suggest you reinstall cause those errors seem to imply somehow your CO install was not done correct/you miss some files or there is some corrupted data.
These errors are not normal, the fact you can still play does not mean its running the way it should, it might very much cause your crashes.
So, lets fix whats broken already instead of searching for something else whats broken while ignoring the already broken parts :-)
