Ok in my bohemia interactive folder there is two more sub folders one named Arma2 and the other Arma2 OA Which one should I have placed the folders in? Because when I place it in OA I dont think it does anything. When I download the files what should I do? Should I save them, open them, save as? Ive noticed that when I download them (onto my desktop) they look like blank sheets of paper. And in the cesnas case it was a blank piece of paper with a floppy disk on it. well I right click the piece of paper then use 7zip to extract the files into the addons folder, subfolder of the MODS1 folder. Maybe corrupted files?
Another thing I noticed.. When I go into the Addons folder there is nothing there!! but up at the top it says compatibiliy files (or something like that) and when I click on it then the cesna files appear.

Eh... I think first you should go through this thread! because I am pretty sure you shouldnt
have 2 games in the bohemia interactive folder! at least ive not got that anyway.

When I installed my games, it was ArmA 2 first, then Operation Arrowhead, BAF, PMC, and they
all installed in the same folder! that folder is called "ArmA 2" and inside that folder ive
got all my addon folders as shown in the pic:

I think you should combine your game together properly first from the link above.

Just a question, when you play your game, its ArmA 2 and OA together? or you just play by
clicking either of the .exe files? I think the reason why your mods work in ArmA 2 is because
you have not combined the games.

When I open up Arma2 OA there is a tab at the bottom called expansions. If I click on it then I get four choices I get to play Arma2, Arma2 OA and the other two are lite versions of a game. But when I just open up Arma2 there is no expansion tab....
I think you may be right ill read through that and post agian if it helps or not. Thank you for the help so far.

Added 45 minutes later:

They are both installed to the same folder. There is mulitple versions of the game and I think one is corrupted. Im going to delete everything, then Im going to download Arma2 OA again. (my desktop is a mess right now) This will help organize so I know which game is which because Ill have only one! haha. Ill post after that see how it goes.

Yeah, when I download the files the icons that appear for that selected download are just blank sheets of paper. I thought they were supposed to be books or something so I then would be able to extract it into the addons folder.

Dont worry about the file looking like a paper, that is obviously because you have .pbo files assoicatied
with wordpad or whatever, it wont do anything! (I hope so anyways, lol). Just dont touch them once downloaded
then put in the right places and see if they work.

Right click the file, select "Open with", choose default program, search your computer for the winrar or 7z installation folder, select the .exe file and press "ok".
It sounds to me your file association is wrong, the above should fix that.
