Thanks. I made available a new Addon into the Repository call "ACE Dev" witch contains some stuff of the ongoing ACE version namely what you have send Elena. Everyone may edit it and add the stuff missing. Just give it back to me then. *THUMBS UP*

Hi, so im trying to use this editor and I cant for the life of my figure it out... Only had arma for a few days so still learing the basics. I have the Combined ops verion. So I downloaded the lea editor and created a profile wth my weps i wanted. created a userconfig folder in my program files/bohemia/arma 2 folder then saved the profile to it. I activated the addon and I cant for the life of me figure out how to access the loadout in game. I get no loadout option with the mouse wheel, the mod is actvie I guess because on the main game page theres a "@lea" on the ride side and its listed as active under addons.
Anyone have any advice?

there is an ACE Dev addon in the LEA ripository.

You seems doing well.
What mission do you use for testing?
Just put a unit into the mission editor, set it as Player then go pre-visualisation.

Hey major

i may found a New bug :-)
The problem is that the unit loadout Loaded twice first at the mission start than after a few secs (ca 13 secs) again,
without LEA no prob so i guess its a fault of the LEA editor..

thats not realy a game breaker but after the loadout of units loaded twice i get nomore chatter/Infos from AI soldiers in my group (hope you know what i mean)
Running the latest version of lea editor

i also tryed to redownload but still the same
edit:
for info i got the lets say bug since the new update wich is a while ago but was to bussy to report
edit2: all my init.sqf's looking fine no dubble lea command
hope that info helps kill the problem :-)

Don't worry with the double message this is minor issue for now. Players are loaded only once.

I can't explain this bug with AI chattering. I expect an ArmA 2 bug ?

I make a Video and post it i dont belive thats a bug with arma2/CO because with out loadouts script all is fine
I edit this post later to show the vid than you see also it loaded twice at me :-)

also for info i run latest ARMA 2 CO build + Beta patch and all DLC's

I know i use some ace ammo some vanilla was just 4 testing

i think it has something to do with loadout-init.sqf but i may wrong

OK. In fact chatter simulates in the game radio communication between your player and the AIs.
If you don't have a radio in your loadout, you won't be able to communicate.
LEA script removes all items player by default. So you MUST be sure to add a radio in your LEA loadout.Even ACRE radios will do. What's funny is that AIs don't need to have a radio to use the chat.

The "double loading" in single player game is normal, will be fixed in next release. This is minor issue.

I have made a video about the radio matter regarding AIs. Do you know a good free software for video compression?

Not realy sry i just use Windows movie maker (wich is shit^^) dont have much done with vids

okay thx for info
using arma 2 since it Release and forgott the radios ... embarrassing (never forgott them befor xD)

The sam_grg ammo uses the same launcher (MAAWS), but i'm not sure on how to add that into the same weapon without touching classlist_weapons.xml

- Is the source code available? I'd like to patch the generated sqfs for my custom case.

Should work correctly, you have nothing to do with existing classlists. In LEA, weapons and magazines are identified by the key made of the concatenation of Mod name and classnames. Which means that several Mods can use the same classname for weapons and magazines.

Yes it is, see LEA wiki. What do you want exactly?
