Hey Guys,

I am working on a concept for an update of the A-10 Warthog, a future version of the aircraft if you like. I'm wanting to combine the slick stealth look of a lot of the modern and upcoming jets, whilst keeping those characteristics and shapes that everyone loves and fears!

At the moment I'm in the High-res blocking out stage, just trying out different shapes and body types. Here are some screens of the sort of thing I'm doing.

I'm not settled on a shape for the engines yet :/

I basically here because I'm not a modder as such, and while my modelling and texturing skills are OK, I don't have any technical understanding of how I'd get something like this in game. So I'd be looking for someone to work with who might have experience and might want to get a cool new jet in the game.

So If you'd be interested give us a shout, I'd really love to get this in ARMA2 :D

Form follows function.

The "crucifix" shaped airframe and twin tailplanes of the A-10, along with all of those hard-points with all of that ordnance hanging off of them, sort of defeats the purpose of all of those "stealth updates".

Having said that, I wish you good luck getting the design ingame.
