jeez i know this game is extremely demanding and all, and my pc is not exactly the best:
but the maximum fps i can get is 35, at THE LOWEST POSSIBLE SETTINGS (at which the game looks extremely choppy and images become unrecognizable)
and this means that at settings that are medium and high quality arma 2 becomes a slide show with 12-20 fps...

my specs are
560gtx 1gb (latest drivers)
6gb ram
q6600 @2.4ghz
windows vista


i dont want to upgrade, since other games like bf3 and crysis and skyrim can be played on high settings without any issues, so i dont see the point wasting several hundred dollars over 1 game.
but is there anything i can do to improve performance with arma2? (btw i got a legit copy, so dont blame everything on fade)

If your pc plays game like bf3 and crysis it should be able to play arma 2 and your computer is better then mine and it still plays arma 2 and the last thing is to try and delete useless crap on your computer and de-fag your hard drive
