# Eondude : I don't have any issues with other games with multiplayet except arma 2, so it won't be my router's fault

The correct way to troubleshoot is by not excluding things but simply try everything you can think of.
So, instead of ignoring your router cause it works elsewhere simply exclude it by testing a different one, whats there to loose?

This means buying routers and there are costly. Besides the post that I read similar to mine have problems related to game spy or something like that, so I'm not sure if buying a router would be worth it.

Just check if you have battleye installed:
should be in the ArmA folder, or its own folder

May I ask, what did you exactly do to your computer or the game folder in any way the day before as
you said it was working fine. Installed any new software? changed any settings at all? anything you
can think of that may have disrupted the game from working correctly?

I installed the unofficial beta patch or build, watever you call it. Arma started acting weird. So I reinstalled arma OA. But no success. There might be other reasons that I might not know. Plus I used six updater to install day Z mod

When you reinstalled the game, did you completely uninstall everything first including the folder which may
of been left after the uninstall? cleared your keys too in the regedit?

Another thing is, how about any other games, they are still working ok playing multiplayer obviously using the
same router? I doubt this has anything to do with the router or firewall itself as you said it was all working
fine prior to the install of the beta patch. So we can most likely rule out the "router" and "firewall" problem.

You didnt change drives did you? for example the first install was on the C drive! but now you moved it to D drive?

This could be a permissions problem with your account for that drive.

*Just to clear this up about the router, while your at it, reset the router and rerun everything
again to try that, though if other games are running fine on multiplayer then no need.

My router works good with other games and i didn't move it to another driver after the reinstall. I only uninstalled Arma: OA and didnt uninstall Arma 2. I mean it worked perfect and normal until the patch, soo.... i reinstalling arma 2 and OA as we post.

Edit
i have to do it again becuse the old folders are stilll there so...

Its your problem, when installing that patch its not only patched OA but im also 99% sure that
its partly patched A2 also. REINSTALL everything and I bet that would fix the problem. (hopefully) lol.
