I recently reinstalled ARMA 2 and OA (I deleted them to free up disc space) but now none of my mods or missions show up. I know they're in the proper folders, and I have the -mod= and everything but still no luck. Will I have to re-install all of them all?is there a quick fix for this? or am I just doing something wrong (pretty sure I'm not)?

Pretty much I'm saying my mods don't work. any and all help is appreciated.

Does it look like this? -mod=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion;@CBA;@JSRS;@map;@ACE;@ACEX;@mod;@unit
Also are your @folders in your directory? And is the directory this? @ace/addons/files? If not it will not work.Did you make sure you are running combined ops? I have to force my game to run combined ops in the target line.

Before I un-installed it I used -mod=@CBA;@ACE and so on, and that worked fine. and yes the directory was like @ace/addons/files. a friend suggested that I un-install then re-install again I did not think it would work, and it didn't.

Added 3 minutes later:

I should mention that I use steam (probably should have gotten it on sprocket) but modding works pretty much the same way on steam, you just have to put things in different places than you normally would

I use steam as well, and have had arma2 since around it was released. All my mods work, and always have with the correct setup such as I provided. You make sure you put the -mod= under target line, and not start in under the shortcuts properties?

It doesn't really help because I do use modfolders

Mate... please, did you at least have a look and give it a go? im tired of people saying that it
wont work when indeed its not working anyway so what are you missing out on? obviously the way you
are doing now isnt working anyway, so at least give it a try. Your mods are not working because of
something you have done wrong, go over everything and make sure that you have done it correctly to
how the guide shows... Then you can say its not going to work :-)

I feel like an idiot. I had the mods installed to the old steam directory, not the new one.

now i've retrieved all of my mods for all of my games, and deleted the old directory
