Everytime I attempt to start ArmA 2 OA It throws an error message at me when I try to launch the game! I uninstalled and reinstalled it and it didnt work. So I unstillad ArmA 2 and OA then reinstalled them both, and it still didn't work. (I made sure to run Arma2 once before attempting to open OA) I still am getting the same error report though! It's really fustrating please assist. Below is the message contents-

AppName: arma2oa.exe AppVer: 1.62.95.248 ModName: dsound.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 000046c8

Any help would be much appreciated...

Hey I had the same problem I just shut down my Pc and turned it back on and it worked

(Might be different for you though)

Have you installed DirectX 9? If not do so and reboot.

DX9 is not fully included in DX11 as you may think. Why I don't know, you need to ask this the clowns @ MS.

Delete (rename) dsound.dll which you installed with your ACRE.

Hey google the problem and look at how much other people are having this problem, exact, down to the core. I am having the same problem too. It completely sux...
