Hi all

I just decided to jump in the ACE world. I loaded play withSIX and used it to install all the mods (ace, acre, cba, etc). When I try to join a server, I get this error:

Include file userconfig/acre/acre_clientside_config.hpp not found.

Now, there was no userconfig folder under My Documents/Arma2. I tried making one and putting the files from
/Arma 2/@ACRE/userconfig/
in that folder I made.

That didn't work. Anyone have any ideas? I have TS3 installed and running and I copied the .dll files to the plugin folder there. I can see the plugin selected from within TS3.

Should there have been a /Arma 2/userconfig created during ACRE install?

The userconfig file belongs in your Arma 2 folder (where the arma 2.exe is.
arma2/userconfig/acre/

Thanks for the advice. Here's what tripped me up. The New SixPlayer installed all the mods in the MyDocuments/Arma 2 folder. When I tried the old SixUpdater, it put things in the folder where arma is installed. (my programs/etc) So, you're telling me that the second is the right place?

Nope, not at all. The my documents folder is a recommended folder to place custom content in, have you ever read a FAQ about how to install custom content? Your question shows you probably never did:
- How to install custom addons

I dont use PlaywithSix so I have no idea how it installs addons.
