Im not sure if this goes here but here goes..

I recently decided to purchase a Arma 2 server for my community. As of today I have it up and running with the mods I approved. And everything is working fine except....I cant start any of the missions I ported over into the server. When I designate them it simply switches to Vanilla mission such as Deathmatch.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
You have an Arma2 only server or arma2CO as in Combined Ops?
Mission you uploaded to the server are they built by you, or did you download them?

Post your server's command line, and also post the server's RPT.

Your server's RPT file is a log file created by Arma. It will be in the root directory of where your Arma is installed on the server and it's called arma2OAserver.rpt (I think?? lol can't remember now).

Is this server all yours? ie: you have complete control over it through RDP or some other remote access?

How are you starting the server? Are you just manually editing command line params? Are you using a launcher like Six-Updater? Is there more than one instance of Arma running on the server? Have you adjusted your .cfg files (server.cfg and basic.cfg)? How are you selecting the mission? Is it listed in your server.cfg file or are you just logging in and selecting the mission once you are in the server?

Also as Gunther mentioned have you installed Arma2 and Arma2 OA and have the server running as Combined Operations?

Sorry for all the questions but setting up a dedicated server properly with mods is not an easy task *WALL*

Bless you my son.

Sorry for my late reply been very busy with stuff.
For your command line you should consider condensing a number of things, for example:

@sthud;@stmovement; these are gameplay addons, you c ould basically put these in the same folder, they will work.

All of these are maps, make a folder that says @Maps, adn then move all the files for each of these into that folder
@mbg_buildings3;@mbg_celle2;@Podagorsk;@panthera;@FDF_Podagorsk;@Clafghan;@opx_objects;@razmisc;@ibr_plants;@ibr_rn
===========
As for the RPT file it will tell you whats going on with your server, it should be located in the same folder area as the server.cfg, or the CFG folder.

Who do you have a server with?

Aha, NFO!
I had an NFO server for a couple of years, in fact just this past week I was helping another guy get his server setup.
and he had a similar setup with ACE mods.

Your RPT will be located in the CFG folder, its a notepad file, post that and lets see what you got.

You have steam? I can better help you if we can chat realtime.
