EDIT: The issue has been resolved and the result can be seen on the original thread over at the BI forums.
The original post
is over at the BI Forums, thought i'd ask the Armaholic folks too :P
So basically i have a set of vehicles that will be respawned if they are destroyed, for that i am using the Simple Vehicle Respawn v1.7 by Tophe of Östgöta Ops [OOPS] though, said vehicles have 2 setObjectTexture lines that change it to a texture i put together.
The init of each vehicle goes as follows:
this setObjectTexture [0, "images\marpat2.paa"]; this setObjectTexture [1, "images\marpat2.paa"]; veh = [this] execVM "vehicle.sqf"
where the first 2 are for my texture inside the folder images on my mission folder and the script "vehicle.sqf" is the vehicle respawn script mentioned before.
My problem right now, is that the vehicles don't respawn with the same texture i applied to them with the init lines, they respawn as default skinned vehicles.
So far i've tried having setObjectTexture after the creation of the vehicle inside the script and that worked locally, but other players wouldn't see the texture after said vehicle respawned. I have also tried to use setVehicleInit, but it seems like it interferes with something and the script doesnt even respawn the destroyed vehicle.
So i've come forth to ask if there is any thing else i could do as to make this work.
