Am i missing it? or is there a how-to on how to add custom mods to servers?

We would love to have some custom vehicles and weapons from here on armaholic?

Lets say we wanted to add this to our server. How would we do it?

Have you seen the very nice and detailed installation instructions?
After installing and activating the addon you can edit the missions to include those weapons.

Is that the same way for all of the mods. Like skins and whatnot

also is this pushed server side, or do people connecting have to gave this downloaded.

we are looking for a way to push content from the server eliminating players need to download files, the same way dayz does

Yes, most addons have the same way of installing. Sometimes they are clientside only, sometimes serverside only but most times both the server and client need the addon. Always read the info on the downloadpage and in the readme.

Easiest is when you provide all your clients with a package which contains all addons/mods you use in your missions or make a page linking to all those addons/mods so they can easily find them.
