You can put this command in editor for example:
create an invisible helipad and called it "gate1" and put it on the prison main gate
create a trigger-
repeatedly
present
in condition put:
player distance gate1 < 20
on act put:
maingateopen = true
on dea put:
maingateclosed = true
done this, when the player is near to the main gate, it will open....
do this also for the secondary gate (of course changing the commands)...

I used two scripts:
the first creates the gate:

_gate Attachto [_where_you_want_to_attach , [-7 ,-0.1, 0.7]];///numbers are variables to set the gate
[_gate ,_where_you_want_to_attach ,-7 ] execVM "move_gate.sqf";
the second control the opening of gate:
///move_gate.sqf///
_gate = _this select 0;
_attach = _this select 1;
_numb = _this select 2;
///***Insert here the condition to open the gate*****
///open gate animation///
for "_i" from 1 to 100 do

_gate Attachto [_attach, [_numb,-0.1, 0.7]];
