is it posible to use every vehicle (helicopter etc.) as an UAV (with the UAV-terminal)?

don't quite understand your question

but...

as a UAV Operator (any unit with UAV Terminal) you can remotely connect to any UAV/UGV thats not currently being controlled by another unit.

simply access the UAV Terminal via the action menu and right click on the UAV/UGV and select connect, then go to take control

Yes I know that but I mean that you can connect any type of vehicle (not just UAVs and UGVs) to the UAV-terminal.

I don't think you are fully understanding what the thread starter is getting at. He understands the BIS provided UAV's and how they work. What he is wondering if it would be possible to write a script that would enable the player to create a module or special script that would make extra vehicles (Other than the BIS default UAV'S) controllable by the UAV console.
[''Cineafx''-----> Take a look around the 'Addon'/'Mod' Forums and on BIS studio forums. There are alot of really great guys that have huge passion for creating utilities and scripts for Arma and that sounds like a really really really awesome iidea!!!! I have a collection of some of the best C++ "spoonfed tutorials for noobs" that are extremely easy to follow and aalso have a collection of great resources built up by veteran Arma scripters that will give you step by step instructions ffor scripting just as it pertains to Arma. PM me and i will be happy to share them with you :) I know lots of guys that wwould love to make this addon. But seriously the concept is fairly a simple one and it would be even more DOPE if you made it yourself!!!!! But either way... thanks you for your conribution! It's an excellent idea and i will shop it around myself

I'm going to take a best guess and say that the UAV items in the game have a lot to do with their base scripting when it comes to Game Content. I think it would be possible to start with a new model of the item and start form there. Just like a UAV you would place in game. There is no script to copy form the base item that makes that item a UAV in a independent factor. The UAV is a dependent in the game content. Thus why you would need a whole new model without editing in game folders form your Arma 3 directory.
