Interesting in seeing more 3d model work and less retexture work. Very nice texture. Might want to elaborate on the lightbar's detail for more variety. Check out Whelen, the makers of lightbars for lighthead ideas. Split light Led and low profile options. I've made a lot of mesh for lightbar mesh models. When scripting the lightbar, I use a scrolling photo real texture style of scripting with making long pattern of alternating on/off and just scroll texture to make flash patterns is one of the old style options in scripting textures. You can achieve more on effect with the burn and dodge tools and lens flare filters in photoshop to increase brightness effect or within script. Then have an ambient point of view POV alternating on/off colored light area cast effect from center of mesh lightbar light to project red, amber, white and or blue lighting, depending on service vehicle(ems, city or pd). Otherwise you will just see colored light flash and darkness around the car with no light bouncing off from solid objects, just blinking. Not sure if this type of scripting is possible in arma.
Here's a few samples of I did on another game. make a mesh lightbar mesh blocks, keep the mesh frame seperate from the lightbar so you can have a scrolling on/off texture like shown here: Some of my ambient lighting and pov lighting effect shots, all made from scratch mesh in blender/photoshop. Not sure if possible in arma. It's an old video gaming technique used in java type gaming. (sent you PM links to my flickr)

Looks like a great start. Nice wigwags. Might need some red and blue fast flashing lights in the rear deck( inner edge rear facing), solid flashing tail lights, make the lightbar alternate much faster, add some white lights, lighting projection pov lighting, flashing alternating headlights, brighter and more glow effect as seen in this sample these kids did in second life from scratch. Another idea would be to make a lightbar hud to activate lighting. But not sure if the coding can work inside arma3. The principles might apply.
Light that thing up. Looks like your mod is going to add a lot to the game. Question: where did that mesh model of the Ford Crown Victoria go that you made? Do you make any other models? Would like to see it in game. Keep up the awesome project! /salute!
Thanks for Your comments and links (very useful)
I'll try to improve again my lightbar, but I think It's already good now.....
About your questions, in this moment I use only the Bohemia models to retextures, but I'm working
on a new model (It's an hard work the new arma3 physics rules are very difficult).
The Second Life police cars are very nice, unfortunately I don't know nothing on SL....
Maybe try and put a flat plane alpha mesh with alpha texture picture in front of the off lightbar. Then possibly script the flashing on and off blinking strobe effect of the texture scrolling changes. Not sure if this is possible within arma3. But I have done this before in other programs. I'll send you link of examples in IM. I really wish I could help out with this project, unfortunally I don't have the experience with oxygen and the arma2/3 mesh tools. You have some really cool ideas and don't ever stop building. Police and Firefighting mods will be a nice addition to role play/action stories in arma3.
