Hi all,

Actually, I must stay on the Beta Obsolete version of ArmA II because of problems with mods when using the last ArmA II version.

I own the Complete Collection on Steam, so I always launch the OA Beta since there, I configure and use my mods without any problems, no error messages, no crash...

But when I try to use my actual mods with the latest version, I have many error messages.

I have a problem with JSRS SoundMod, an error message say me that 'JSRS_2A14' requires addon 'CA_CruiseMissile' for example. And no way to find this 'CA_CruiseMissile', so surely a file from the vanilla game. I never experiment this error message before this last update.

I see in a Bohemia forum that this problem is fix when activate all the CBA folders, even if the CBA_CO contain the A2 + OA contents.
When I try to get all folder for CBA, so :

CBA
CBA_A2
CBA_OA
CBA_CO

I only can have the CBA_CO.

The problem is it's impossible to get hands on the folders CBA_A2 and CBA_OA actually, even using the PlayWithSIX.
Only the CBA_CO is available, no way to get the CBA.

After that, by deactivating the sounds mods, I get other error messages...
Since the last update of ArmA II, if I don't use the obsolete version, that's a complete mess !

So, my question is : What the fuck ?!
Sorry for this, but... The latest ArmA II version should contain all the Beta content, so, why the latest version is completely messed up compare to the Beta obsolete ?!

That's really a shame.

So actually, if we want to use mods without problems, we must stay in the obsolete version.
The logic must be that we should have stability in the lastest version, not in the obsolete version, but actually, that's completely not the case.

Am I the only one who experiment this stupid problem with the latest version ?

Here you have all cba versions.
https://dev.withsix.com/projects/cca/files
I use cba 1.0.0 the last version that use @cba,@cba_a2, @cba_oa and i never had any problems with mods that use cba, for example with jsrs, blastcore or i44.

Ps. If you use cba_co you cant use the 3 folders version together.

Thanks for the info and the link, I try actually with the latest version of ArmA II and the 1.0.0pre10 CBA.

I come back to give infos.

EDIT : Tested but no way to get it to work, still this error message about CA_CruiseMissile.

And normally, you always need to use the @CBA folder.

It's just CBA_A2 and CBA_OA that you must deactivate when using CBA_CO.

So it's :

ArmA II Only :
@CBA;@CBA_A2

OA Only :
@CBA;CBA_OA

ArmA II + OA :
@CBA;@CBA_A2;@CBA_OA or @CBA;@CBA_CO

But when trying with my mods actually and with the latest version, no way to have a correct launch.

I think I just stay in the obsolete version.

Wrong ;)
For arma 2+OA you must use:
@cba,@cba_a2,@cba_oa

Or you use ONLY @cba_co and beta patch.

In cba_co you have all 3 folders in one.

Oh, ok, I understand.

So, actually, with my Beta Obsolete version, I use @CBA and @CBA_CO, and I never have problem.
I always read in the pages from the developers of CBA that the @CBA folders must be use all the time.

I understand better now why selecting @CBA_CO in PlayWithSIX select CBA_A2, CBA_OA and CBA already installed and only permit to install CBA_CO.

But I still don't understnad why I always have theses error messages...

I'll retry some tests with the link you give me.
Thanks for this info !

Still no way to get the latest ArmA II version with actual mods without having the error messages.
Only the Beta Obsolete launch correctly.
