As far as colors go, I recommend looking around and seeing what kinds of colors are out there - if you want to. I think you have accommodated the majority of beards out there with the two colors you have offered so far.

Hey fantastic mod!

I have no idea how RV4 handles alpha channel, but is there a reason why you're not using it to create the effect of strands of hair? If RV4 does support alpha channel to be used on faces then you should definitely take advantage of it.

right then to those who dont believe this is my work here are some of the WIP of the beard, now admittedly i have little imagination and just reproduced the beards that I saw in medal of honor, but at no point did i rip them

An Alpha map will make it look a million times better.

I believe you have to set the .rvmat to properly make use of the alpha map.

Dunno if that will help at all. I found that video a few weeks ago when I was inspired to get into 3d modelling after seeing your awsome beards. I've got a ways to go yet, I hope I can get up to your level mate. I wanna make some scruffy hairdoos too. Anyway, hope that link helps, if you haven't seen it already.
