Hi guys, I'm sorry if this is a repeat post. I searched, and all the threads i found contained broken links to answers (I hope).
This is what I'm trying to do:
I want to have a sound play from a specific in-game source. For example to have a call to prayer play from a loud speaker. I don't want this to just be an event, I want it to work the same way gunshots do, where you can only hear it in ear-shot, and the further away you are, the quieter it gets. Does that make sense?
Also, I don't knw anything about scripting aside from youtube tutorials, so please use simple words haha. I'm new and a little overwhelmed.
Sort of. I have a sound set from a waypoint of an AI at this time, but it's deafeningly loud, and is not repeated. All I want to happen is for a call to prayer to be played from a specific location, loud enough to be heard throughout the town. Currently the sound is so loud it can be heard from 4km away. It's also not a custom sound file. Does anyone have a way around this? Thanks!
